Ortiz just blatantly ducked the AJ fight, people are not really sure why. Shockingly he wasnt allowed to take the fight and also got promised a Wilder rematch later this year, as PBCs own Coppinger confirmed recently.
Same with Adam Kownacki who declined the AJ offer and said there are other plans for him later this year, apparently he was also offered to fight Wilder down the road, after the Wilder Ortiz rematch.

So whats really going on here? Wilder will be facing Breazeale in May, then the Ortiz rematch later this year and Kownacki in early 2020? That means Haymon has planned Wilders next 3 fights already, so there is no chance that fans will see Wilder vs AJ anytime soon.
Same problem with Spence vs Crawford. Spence's plan is to face all the PBC fighters in the next 1-2 years. Porter, Thurman/Pacquiao and Danny Garcia.
Here is the latest interview from Ellerbe, claiming boxing fans dont want to see Spence vs Crawford and that fight will not happen anytime soon.
They probably have similar plans with Tank Davis and Mikey Garcia. Garcia just vacated his WBC belt so we wont be seeing Lomachenko vs Mikey Garcia. Tank Davis is being guided carefully away from Lomachenko and even other champions at 130 like Tevin Farmer, Ito or Berchelt. He is supposedly in talks with ancient Yuriorkis Gamboa who is close to 40 and totally shot.
We will not be seeing Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder
We will not be seeing Anthony Joshua vs Luis Ortiz or Adam Kownacki
We will not be seeing Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence
We will not be seeing Vasily Lomachenko vs Mikey Garcia or Tank Davis
As an actual boxing fans how can you defend this?
Real boxing fans need to wake up and realize that PBC and Haymon are ruining our sport. They turn fighters into spineless puppets and try to brainwash simpleminded boxing fans. Sadly they have a big influence with certain media who just parrot whatever PBC/Haymon injects them to say.
No surprise. Luis Ortiz is with PBC and per sources, has already been promised Deontay Wilder rematch in 2019

one thing we learned from this whole Miller incident is that PBC is planning on Wilder fighting twice more this year in high profile fights where Kownacki and Ortiz will get paid very, very well as opponents. Or at least that's what Kownacki and Ortiz have been told.

My next fight wouldn’t be against Anthony Joshua June 1. Ill be back in the ring mid-summer. More news coming in up coming weeks.

Leonard Ellerbe shuts down any Terence Crawford vs Errol Spence Jr talk. He says "that fight's not happening. What fans want to see Crawford vs Spence?" Stay tuned for interview.
