The first fight is the one where Floyd made him change his gloves at the last minute. And that AGAIN is because Maidana's custom gloves were REJECTED by the comission after they were inspected by Floyd and his team.
They were rejected due to having barely any padding in the glove.
So AFTER those gloves were rejected by the comission, Floyd took it upon himself to choose Maidana's glove for him.
Then for the rematch, following this fiasco, he put it in the contract what gloves Maidana had to wear.
The catalyst for any of this glove stuff was due to the fact that Maidana attempted to wear custom gloves that weren't deemed legal by the comission.
Or are you actually trying to deny this happened aswell?
Has Lewis ever done that no he hasn’t so stop making stuff up

Lewis's resume really isn't all that.
He beat a lot of guys who were just name value and probably the equivalent to a Robert Guerrero type at best.
So many third rate opponents and past prime opposition sure Floyd fought past prime opposition but they were much better opponents at the time than guys like Tyson were.
His record isn't close to Floyds its way too shallow.
You could remove 5 maybe 8 of Floyds best wins and only then should there be a serious debate.

It was the first fight where they were changed last minute, DUE TO to comission rejecting Maidana's custom gloves.
At which part of this are you lost so I can make it easier for you?
Lewis hasn't done that specifically no, but he has admitted to making some of his opponents wear the gloves of his choosing. Which was the orginal point you made in regards to the comparison between Floyd and Lewis.
Lewis admitted to making some of his opponents wear gloves of his choice. There is really no more to say on the matter.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 04-22-2019, 10:29 AM.

Hats off to his long dominance and brilliance and list of achievements but his best win against an absolute prime opponent is Corrales.
Had he fought Cotto in 08, Manny in 09, Canelo at 154 he definitely had a solid shot to that claim.
If lennox was at 147. He would have done that
Haymon had a big role to play as well.
He had came from the music industry where it not the best talents that get the success it is who is marketed the best and who can generate a fanbase.
Floyd has even openly said his career was about making money, making smart moves and getting out safe.
Amazing the level of denial his fanboys are in about this.
Lennox's plan was to be the man he believed in his greatness and wanted to fight the big challenged, that is what drove him.

Holyfield obviously not prime in 1999.
Vitali was a dominant heavyweight champ for many years, rarely lost rounds and the two fights he did lose were down to injuries. Multiple world title defences
Ranks higher than Holyfield and Tyson.
Holyfield was 36 and world champion IBF and WBA, which he won against Tyson and Moorer.
