You are aware he went from 1996-2015 (19 years) undefeated, winning 12 World Titles in 5 different weight classes, 4 of those weight classes Lineal Champion, was on the P4P List from 1998-2015 a good portion of that #1, lowest #2?

And you consider this to not be dominant?

And yes, he was #1 at every weight class he fought in except 140.

#1 at 130, 135, 147 and 154.

No that's not what happened. You're also confusing the fights.

The first fight is the one where Floyd made him change his gloves at the last minute. And that AGAIN is because Maidana's custom gloves were REJECTED by the comission after they were inspected by Floyd and his team.

They were rejected due to having barely any padding in the glove.

So AFTER those gloves were rejected by the comission, Floyd took it upon himself to choose Maidana's glove for him.

Then for the rematch, following this fiasco, he put it in the contract what gloves Maidana had to wear.

The catalyst for any of this glove stuff was due to the fact that Maidana attempted to wear custom gloves that weren't deemed legal by the comission.

Lewis's resume really isn't all that.

He beat a lot of guys who were just name value and probably the equivalent to a Robert Guerrero type at best.

So many third rate opponents and past prime opposition sure Floyd fought past prime opposition but they were much better opponents at the time than guys like Tyson were.

His record isn't close to Floyds its way too shallow.
You could remove 5 maybe 8 of Floyds best wins and only then should there be a serious debate.

Lewis hasn't done that specifically no, but he has admitted to making some of his opponents wear the gloves of his choosing. Which was the orginal point you made in regards to the comparison between Floyd and Lewis.

He engineered his career very well. Well enough to have a case at being the goat if we gonna go by his die hard fans mentallity. But those who know knows the truth behind what have just been written on paper.

Hats off to his long dominance and brilliance and list of achievements but his best win against an absolute prime opponent is Corrales.

Had he fought Cotto in 08, Manny in 09, Canelo at 154 he definitely had a solid shot to that claim.
