Well the post I was responding to did and you was responding to that. Wilders profile has been largely boosted by trying to make AJ look as though he is ducking and also using Fury's lineal title, no one is paying to watch him lose because the people that would pay to watch him (Americans) do not care at this point and Brits do not have pay to watch him. Plus people have a only paid to watch him anyway so there is no way to tell how much.

Another factor in the increase to his offers is DAZN have realised they are going to have to spend megamoney to coax fighters away so they've been offering big money since they got Canelo.

So Wilder did the right thing and boosted his profile with Fury and the Market conditions improved vastly since the 15 mil. No one is paying to watch him loose as no one pays to watch him in terms of he's not on PPV, he's mostly holding that belt to high ransom.

I'm suggesting that being who he has been over the last year has enhanced his worth in fights. Call it a role, him being dumb, contradictory, or whatever. It appears to be working. Does it matter if Wilder is dumb if whatever he is doing is increasing the amount of money he makes per fight.

He’s certainly raising his profile, but thats’s easy to do if you act like a repulsive fool (see Adrien Broner). And that’s what Wilder is doing when he talks about crippling fathers in front of their children and killing men in the ring without remorse. It will certainly turn heads for obvious reasons. The thing is that it casts the sport in a bad light and ultimately makes your fans look like idiots. No doubt it’s why you used to see a hell of a lot more Wilder fans on these boards than you do now. You’re basically one of the last remaining ones along with Rexy and that WBC/WBF conglomerate of industry insiders (lol).

As to your point about increasing his revenue... Wilder turned down a guaranteed $20m to fight Breazeale so that he can fight the same dude on free-to-air tv for an undisclosed fee. The suggestion is that he’s making SIGNIFICANTLY less than he could be making.

So not only is he alienating anyone remotely sensible, he seems to be shying away from his first actual chance to make serious money and fight for the title.

His reasoning [paraphrased] “I’m a businessman, how can you expect me to do a deal when I don’t know all of the information”
Throws his previous position “Joshua’s a coward he turned down my $50m without details 24-hour only offer” into sharp relief as being hypocritical and fake.

He then talks about people loving him (please love me, people) because he’s the “realest” guy in the game.

The guy’s a clown. You seem frankly too intelligent to be supporting him, given that I’ve seen you using words which extend to three syllables.
