Salty Paulie got hit to the head one too many times. The clown who scored it a draw should be banned from ever scoring another fight. At best Lopez took 4 rounds.

Judging in boxing is a absurdly hilarious tragedy. Complete joke. I hope things will improve someday in the future. Was just recently reading about Satoshi Shimizu (Japan) vs Magomed Abdulhamidov (Azerbaijan) in olympic boxing. What a scandal, Mamoged was dropped SIX TIMES IN ONE ROUND. The rules state that after 3 knockdowns it should be stopped, but it wasn't, the ref also gave him plenty of extra time. AND APPARENTLY JUDGE GAVE HIM THE ROUND, which is not only absurd but unbelievable

I read about that too... Corruption, especially in Olympics is a huge, huge problem. Makes this sport look pretty bad

Punch drunk and personal grievances aside, Malignaggi is absolutely correct! See this crap too often. Why cant there be a judging selection between the two fighters camps? Sorta like picking of a jury committee. Where managers can choose judges who lean to their fighters styles of boxing. Im sure there would be controversy but it's a start. Leave that up to promoters and we get the same excuses we've heard all are lives " thats boxing for you" or " you never know what the judges are seeing". For crying out loud they're seeing the same thing everyone else is!Comment
