Comments Thread For: Kownacki: Not A Bodybuilding Contest; No Need To Look Like Zeus

NEW YORK When Adam Kownacki and Gerald Washington weigh in Friday afternoon, their bodies will look completely different. The 6-feet-6 Washington will be chiseled, sculpted like a prototypical professional athlete. The 6-feet-3 Kownacki will be a little bit chubby, probably about 20 pounds heavier than the former USC football player.

To be fair, he prob gonna beat Washington but it doesn't hurt to have some discipline in your diet. If you eat well and train hard/effectively his physique would be a lot better.

Physical fitness always matters. He should get used to disciplining himself now before he ends up like Arreola.

My old coach told me, while very young, that the more ripped you are, the easier to see when you're about to throw a punch, and sometimes even which hand! My Grandpa warned me to avoid fat guys with big calves, and all guys with cauliflower ears & big necks! He would say "you gonna have to bring your lunch box!"

I always enjoy when the fatties beat the pulp out of the bodybuilder looking dudes.

Actually if you consider his work rate and stamina he is physically fit, just not a hard body. However I believe that by reducing his body fat and hardening his muscles he'll fight even better and certainly extend his career. Same could be said about Tyson Fury.

I would add to what your Grandpa said by saying what my dad said, "it's the wiry types that are most dangerous."
