Is anyone else fed up of people mentioning Ortiz as an elite fighter?

Making a deal with BT when you know Joshua has an exclusive contract with Sky says you don't.

See they talk like they want it, but behind closed doors are making blocks so it can't happen.

Maybe in his younger days, but he never stepped up then.
Isn't he in his 40s now?
        Sure looks like it.

Nope, because he has beaten 4 dudes who were top 10 while Ortiz hasn't beaten a single one.

Because he won the Olympics while Ortiz could not win the national Cuban title because of odlanier Solis

            Is that enough?

And one of AJs top wins, Parker went 10 rounds with a guy Ortiz KOd 2.

when he was with GB and Hearn's Matchroom, he was considered an elite HW that Wilder was avoiding. As soon as he went with Haymon and lost to Wilder he became a bum. Yet all these AJ fan boys consider Whyte and Parker elite top HWs. Parker was lucky to fight for a vacant belt against a fat Ruiz. He never would have beaten a legit champ like Wilder or Fury. Big reason why Parker ducked a unification to cash in with AJ. Whyte? Didn't get KOd by AJ and barely beat Chisora and Parker? Ortiz beats both those guys and along with Takam and the great Charles Martin.

                  Its not Elite/Horrible

While there may well be two sides to this issue, it seems to me that people like Robbie either want a fighter to be elite or a nobody. Ortiz is a tough hombre with skills, who has shown himself to be waiting in the wings if the opportunity presents itself.

You can lose fights and still be decent. Chisora has made a career out of it. Ortiz has enough talent to be a problem for AJ...Whyte also has skills, its not an either/or situation.

People will rank him high to fit into their agendas. Wilder fans will say he's the second coming of mike Tyson. They will also say that AJ "must" fight him, even though Ortiz is not ranked in any of the top 15 of the belts that AJ holds. He had a chance to fight Whyte and a lot of other fighters but, like Wilder, there always seems to be a reason as to why he can't fight the big fights. But he will go right ahead and fight Cojanu, Kaughman and other bums for a lot less money. I never bought into him being this boogieman because there were a lot of fights like the Allen fight where he looked like crap

What has he done to earn one since the last one he had? Why should he get a shot ahead of fighters that have done far more?

He's got to be the most overrated fighter in the sport right now.
                      Why do you care?

And he's not elite but he's a top 4 HW on every list. With AJ, Wilder and Fury there, that's pretty impressive. Stop trying to downplay a fighter to belittle Wilder. Like we don't know that's what you're doing.
