That makes this that much worse! Ortiz was doing better, yet still wasn't winning the rounds!

Not only that, but Ortiz was only allowed a 10 count! If he was given 30 seconds like Fury was, he could have continued too!

It’s not a draw, nor is it 114-112. It’s 114-110. If it’s 7-5, it changes the score to 113-113. That’s how drastically KDs swing a score in the ten point must system, which is crap. It’s also bullshi.t that judges don’t score rounds even anymore. If a judge doesn’t wanna use ring generalship and defense in the scoring, which they’re supposed to. They should at least score the rounds where neither does much offensively even.

We need a sports science episode on this lol

I think it's his frame and the way he throws it. He literally turns on the shot, putting all of his weight behind it. It leaves him open, but when he lands it's like a hammer.

I disagree with some of this post, but at least you can count my friend lol

People screaming robbery clearly don't fully understand how fights are scored. After the first 4 rounds, there was enough ambiguity to give Wilder's knockdowns enough influence over the fight to get a result. I was texting a friend after the first one telling him to look out for the disappointment lol its boxing

Dude I've had enough of teaching people how to score tonight. It's 114-112

Please just write it out, or do whatever you have to do, but dont reply back to me. You guys not being able to score has ruined discussing post fight.

Either way, when I said Wilder made correctable mistakes. I meant that he could find more effective ways to land his right hand, which Fury was taking away. Wilder was basically the equivalent of a offense in football ****ing their heads against a wall trying to run the ball when the defense had the box loaded. You have to adjust and pass to setup the run. Wilder could have fainted more. He could have led with a hook. He could have changed the trajectory of his right hand and threw it straight instead of looping it. Like the one that scored the KD in the twelfth. He could have done a lot of things instead of following Fury around the ring waiting for a perfectnshot that almost never came.
It was that in particular that I was yelling for. He kept throwing it wide, and Fury kept defending against it. I'm beginning to wonder if he's just clueless. As much as I become enamored with power punchers, Wilder is beginning to piss me off with his lack of development. Fury figured him out and got comfortable too early because Wilder was not giving him much to be concerned with. Fury/Wilder and Gvoz/Stevenson were much similar than I originally thought they would be.

Wilder clearly beat Fury. Fury did not beat the 10 count. There is no denying that. Yet, the ref gave all the extra time he needed. The ref treated that like Fury got hit with a low blow, and had all the time needed to recover. He counted to 10, Fury didn't make it, tried to get Fury to walk towards him and hold out his gloves and Fury couldn't do it. So, the ref just waited and when Tyson finally said he was ready to go again, he was allowed to!

And he’s doing this against guys 20,30,40lbs heavier than him.

LMAO at anyone who thinks that Wilder won more than a round in the first 6

That was a clinic by Fury and fight was basically over by round 8 barring a ko
