Thank you, nothing else to say about this topic. Holyfield is trying to be diplomatic here, but he clearly believes he was better.

Holyfield was an amazing athlete with a HUGE heart. But as was said "Evan Fields" was also juiced to the moon and looked like a friggin bodybuilder. I mean that has to count for at least a SMALL part of his success. He also fought pretty dirty at times. Usyk has a very special skillset and is a great already just based on what he's already done. Nevermind what he may accomplish in the future. He also is a fantastic role model for others to follow. Why try to downplay either's achievements? What purpose does that serve?
Nobody is talking about role models or who fights cleaner or any of that crap. Who was the better fighter is the topic.

Trying to compare fighters of different eras is absolutely as pointless as trying to compare fighters of different weighclasses (AKA P4P). Pure, unadulterated, subjective, bull****. Every generation believes that the fighters of the previous era were tougher, more skilled and manlier, and that those of the next generation are softer, weaker and more effeminate... blah, blah and this has probably been going on since the beginning of time.

Anyone can believe what they want but the simple fact is we never will know and never can know, how a fight between these two might have gone, mores the pity. I would have paid to see it happen though.

With that gap teeth, Usyk could not even resort to biting Holyfield's ear.

Holyfield was an old school African American fighter that doesn't exist anymore in today's entertainment culture. Holyfield was right it was completely two different eras because back then, let's face it, African American fighters were bad asses, and weren't weak and entitled like today's brand, looking for cracks in the system to gain advantages like:
                Andre Ward
                Floyd Mayweather
                Spence
                Wilder
                Charlo
                Crawford

Today's Eastern European fighters are past eras Holyfield and Hagler. They don't need entitlement protection or games .

Usyk, GGG and Loma are carrying boxing purists .

I respect all fighters and don't like to point fingers but I've always believed Holyfield used PEDs when he moved up. If you look at before and after photos of him he just put on a massive amount of muscle in an impossibly short time. It is literally physically impossible for anyone no matter how physically gifted to put on that much lean muscle that fast.

Back then, the cruiserweight limit was 190lb. Usyk would have had a significant size and strength advantage over a none juiced Holyfield.

Holyfield and his era are overrated. Just American local level fighters fighting eachother and be proclaimed world champs. Usyk is a real World Champ Holyfield never was
