I predicted this lol. Canelo wouldn't actually win but get the decision - it's Vegas - too bad I didn't put actual money on this fight.
No way Canelo earned more than a draw here. I did think that Canelo won a lot of those early rounds... 5 or 6 the most though - GGG won every one of those last 3 rounds for sure.
With the way Golovkin was built up, it's surprising that he wasn't able to hurt, drop, or stop a fighter with one previous fight at or above the middleweight limit after 24 rounds of boxing.
Well usually they do but if you support GGG you don’t necessarily have to count them.
It’s a much better watch for you if you don’t count them. I only counted 1 interview after the fight and counted that Canelo had more belts than usual, strange that.
Lol...as usual. Highly entertaining. The GGG fans will not sleep well tonight if at all. The Alvarez fans may not either.
Let me get this straight. So the fighter who backs up is the aggressor and the fighter who comes forward is not. Now that's interesting.
I think I got my wording mixed up. Either way, Canelo wasn't overly effective coming forward as Ggg was in the first fight, yet somehow wins doing the same thing, even tho gennady was outboxing saul off the backfoot/middle of the ring for long stretches, while landing more punches. I saw ggg slip and turn Saul's shots a lot

Different breed of fighters, the two guys he fought and didn't stop aren't minced meat either and aren't going to try to put their b@lls on the canvas to get into a dog fight with him. He did drop Jacobs though.
It's easy to come forward when your reflexes are twice as fast as your opponent because you waited until they were 36 years old to fight him. GGG tried to come forward a few times but Canelo slipped his slow punches and then countered with bullets. It boggles my mind how all you idiots out there cannot see you are being manipulated based on when these fights take place. If they wait until a fighter 33 or older, that's a declining fighter. 36 isn't a declining fighter, it's a complete joke. You guys are being fed the performance of a 36 year old and being told that has something to do with how good he was when he was in his prime, but it has nothing to do with it.
What about when Mayweather was 36-37 and Alvarez was 22-23, and came to the ring at SMW? Wanna insert the "Canelo was still green" excuse, even though that has nothing to do with reflexes?
