The problem isn't Briggs chin, it's his defense.

I think its a combination of the two. Briggs always keeps his hands about chest high and left elbow kind of out a bit...thats why his jab is pretty quick for a big dude. His defense is horrible, which in turn leaves his chin exposed, and if you are a HW and get chin-checked with a good puncher, one punch is all you need many times.

Briggs has a solid chin. It took Lewis 5 monstrous knockdowns to finally win even though Briggs got up from the last one!!! Lewis hits as hard as anybody that's ever existed. George Foreman said that. Not sure how he knows, but most people acknowledge Lewis' KO of Rahman as the hardest punch ever landed in boxing. Lewis is one of the biggest monster hitters of all time so it doesn't really matter if he knocked Briggs down 4-5 times.

Savarese was a close fight and Morrison was kicking foremans ass... Briggs was getting his ass kicked by foreman and still got the decision, it was a travesty.
