Because he'll get counter. That doesn't mean that canelo is a heavy puncher. Canelo is faster than triple g, so if he tries to go to the body, canelo will get to him first, in return, triple g can lose on points if he keeps this up. So this is why he abandon going to the body.

I'm starting to think that the Bumlovkin camp is in the early stages of becoming undone. First the Triple Duck stops doing interviews in English - now they're making these nonsensical statements when we ALL saw who was landing the harder cleaner punches. If Alvarez' punching power was so insignificant then why didn't you go after him in seek-n-destroy mode like you've done in the past against other opponents who weren't heavy handed?
