We're not talking about retirement checks when it comes to fighters like Stevens. He's paid well, but you can usually figure even on his biggest purses, he isn't a millionaire. Plus, by the time they pay taxes, trainer, training camp etc, they likely only end up with about 50-60% of the gross.

I guarantee he made that and beyond in purses, but by the time the help, taxman and blood suckers are paid, he would be lucky to be worth 200 million. Someone like Stevens would have got maybe $300,000 vs Lemieux. He would end up with around $75,000 by the time everyone else took their share.
Well you havent taken in all of the other platforms that Floyd makes $ from because i guess you dont know that he also makes $$ from investments like property & music promotions Drake & Lil Wayne tours he did Beyonce Works Tour 4 yrs ago etc..Al Haymon investments

I’d never send another boxer there again let them swim in their squalor

I remember a similar chair throwing incident in the Casimero-Lazarte fight in Argentina. Boxers are living a dangerous life...

Typically, when a fight takes place in a foreign country, and Steve Smoger is called for as a referee, he is injected with massive doses of sedatives, placed in restraints, frozen in Carbonite, lowered into the SmogerTransportModule; the SmogerTransportModule is then loaded into the rear of a Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules...

                      Er...by plane.
                      I think.
