If Usyk wins, he's pound for pound #1, without a doubt

      Oh well.

Usyk will never KO Gassiev, and no mater what he does he won't get the decision.

Still can't wait for the fight, and fingers crossed that the fight is judged fairly, but with all this talk...watch Usyk just might get KOd.

But you can't fault anyone for thinking that Moscow will award the fight to Gassiev......but you never know.

I can't see a Ukrainian champion will be allowed to win there unless of course it's a propaganda stunt and way of ***** saying see we take half your country and shoot down a passenger airliner full of Dutch AIDS doctors, but we still let you win a boxing match

Who knows what went on behind the scenes to make the organisers change the venue for the final? Maybe there were other reasons, apart from the money, we don't know anything about.

I feel ... very feel ... sympathy for Usyk having to go against his principles and fight in Russia, which wasn't something he signed up for at the start of the tournament, but I don't think he will get robbed in Moscow.

The WBSS intend staging 2 tournaments per year, every year, from now on. Going by their success so far they are going to be major players in international boxing during the coming years. I believe they are already too big and too prestigious for any of the domestic governing bodies involved to risk being ostracised and frozen out of future tounaments for showing favouritism to home fighters.

As Pigeons says, Usyk fought Huck in Germany and Breidis in his home city in Latvia. The Breidis fight was as close as a fight can possibly be, but Usyk still got the nod.

Wlad vs Povetkin was Ukranian vs Russian, in Moscow. And if any bias was shown in that fight, it was in Wlad's favour!

The final should've been in neutral territory when there are such hostilities between both countries and Russia's track record of corruption.

This is not looking fair for Usyk.

I'm excited that the fight is finally happening, should be one of the best in years. Even though I'm more of a Gassiev fan, the fight taking place in Russia is not fair for Usyk. Actually, I believe Usyk has been fighting on the road the whole tournament. If he wins, that would be one helluva statement, and an easy top5 P4P spot from me.

              May the best man win!

Usyk will blame himself for this decision. He can`t drop Gussiev and judges can`t get him favorite. Usyk told that he will agree to fight in moskow on his favorite number 17 (for $17 million). I think he agreed to smaller number

Yeah, good to read. Would like to see it in a neutral place, as a points win for Gassiev in this setting will not be recognized by most people. Oh well, I don't think this go to the cards so whatever comes is good

Hate to see either guy have a home advantage. It might cheapen the victory if Gassiev gets a decision and thats a disservice to both guys.

However, I'm going to be optimistic here and hope the WBSS ensures fair officials. They have thus far.
