again... the resume s just simply not that good, nobody else is cut slack he wont be.. its not good but hes a good fighter nothing special. but being good in this sport in itself is a hell of alot and speaks volumes... so for that i respect him. but the resume is not good at all, yes a few decent names are there (very few) but its lacking and he has a chance to unify as he promised yet he chooses otherwise, cant faul him chasing the pay day, its life

Yeah no matter which way you dice GGG's career, there is no doubt that he's hell for anyone. Until recently no body wanted to get into the ring with him. High risk low reward. EVERYBODY wanted to fight Canelo. Big pay check win or lose. GGG KO's nearly all his opponents. Nobody is eager to be KO'd.

Honestly, his resume is weak overall and we don't think of him in a classic war, but that is just because nobody gave him the chance to, and he only really got moving star power wise after around 32-33 years old. Pretty late at that point.

Canelo fought Mayweather at what? 22 years old practically? lol. He's been fighting big name fighters nonstop.

I understand that theres a repeated pattern up until GGG wn his first major title, that you are in denial of.

I am just pointing out the obvious, sorry if its an issue. Boy did good after he emerged on the word title scene just like everyone else who did good, in GGG's case from 2014 onwards. But I'm not going to invent some mythical bullshyt when GGG wasnt a champ.

I don't care TBH, he's a very respectable fighter who fought everybody available and willing to fight over the last 10 years (with just one case with Derev where we can blame him) at 160. I don't think he has a great record, so don't expect me to argue about it.

But he has a respectable record, he also was olympic finalist and world champ in ams and deserves even more respect for that.

He has been working his but off over the last 25 years.
He doesn't deserve to be called a bum PERIOD

Your boy Nelo couldn't decision that bum with the boxing business pushing for him and the guy being 36 and so slightly over the hill + cheated popping twice for a PED (voluntary or not it's still cheating) in the prep rematch.

He signed to fight Nelo for a third time, I don't think he's afraid of challenges like you guys are pretending unless Nelo is a bum, but Nelo packs arguably the best current record in boxing...

So what about putting some respect and stopping being a mexican cheerleader?

So you think GGG's record lacks names (I agree here) but at the same time thinks he should fight BJS instead of Nelo?

If GGG beats Saunders, he beats a guy whose best win is Eubank jr.

Nelo packs wins over Chavez jr, Lara, Trout and Cotto and is actually holding the 160 lineal title he took from Cotto (who beat Martinerz, who beat Palik who beat Taylor who beat Hopkins).

+ THEY DREW in a first fight (wether you agree or not with the verdict)

I don't think he should fight Saunders for his WBO belt instead of Nelo.

Verifiable offers to 13 current/former/future world champs with a combined record of 436W-24L that were turned down & never stepped in the ring against GGG.

hah, I laughed at this. Not really true, but funny none the less. Golovkin has always tried to get better opponents in the ring, just hasn't always materialized. Can't wait for September for him to put a stamp on his resume.
