Hopefully all will go smoothly from here, but there's not much trust apparent between the two camps and it seems the four week delay in responding to this latest matchroom offer may have further exacerbated this distrust.
That and the wba mandatory which they've had to prepare in case no agreement was reached.

Now that this is no longer a concern, everything should be smooth sailing. If not, there's only one party to blame.
As I said, hopefully we're in the end phase, we won't know that it's sorted untill a deal is signed.

Edward "Compulsive Liar" Hearns and Apple Jacks are just making themselves look worse by the day with all of this!
Fellow fighters are saying AJ isn't confident in beating Wilder and most think he'll take a nap if he fights Wilder!
Even some of AJ's countrymen and Nigerian people think he's a coward!
Never in boxing history have we witnessed the B side do ALL they can to try and make a fight! Shameful stuff, Apple Jacks should feel embarrassed!
Had no problems fighting everyone else but when it comes to Wilder it's an issue!

Wilder BEEN agreed to fight in the UK just for no flat fee unless AJ takes the flat fee in a rematch if AJ loses which AJ on camera agreed upon until he backtracked once again!
Hearns said the fight wasn't worth 40 mill nor 100 mill but came out and said the fight is possibly worth more!
Hearns said AJ would fight in America but then said that AJ wanted UK all along!
Hearns said there was deadline until he then said that there wasn't one!
Hearns said he sent a contract for the initial offer but then said it was just a draft!
Lesson for today boy's and girls, don't believe what Hearns says or you'll be parakeeting everything he says and be a compulsive contradictory liar just like him!

Oh dear some people will be twitching on these boards today. Whole years of comments, YouTube videos, board postings will all be a LIE.
For one set of fanatics.
50/50 fight. Over early. KO.
P.S. Some serious head ****ers on here still trying to argue for a duck either way. EVEN THOUGH by all accounts it looks like the fights getting AGREED. Twisting words. Pointing blame. Even though the fight is agreed. They don’t want to see the fight it makes them nervous. Is your country better than my country? Have YOU been living a lie?
Looks like we’ll find out after all.
Let’s go champ!

"It has taken him four weeks to come back to us. Certainly if he does want to fight Anthony Joshua and he does accept the deal then we want to try and get that booked in as soon as possible, and we have have to speak to the venues and American TV and try and get this up and running. So we'll find out the truth in the next week or so once the paperwork's in front of him."
June 5th:
Finkel said he had held talks last week with veteran fight promoter, Barry Hearn, whose son Eddie promotes Joshua.
"I met with Eddie's father, Barry, this past Friday in New York and it was a good meeting," Finkel said. "I'm hopeful that they will get back to me this week and that something can be done to make the fight in the fall. I'm optimistic.

Hearn isn't sure if Wilder is serious because up until now all negotiation has been in private.
Why the hell would Wilder then come out in public and say yes to a 4 week old offer when he could have done it in private with communication streams flowing?
PR? In that case Hearn is right to wonder whether he's serious and whether he will throw another curve ball in, especially when we know a deal with Povetkin for mandatory is almost secured.Originally posted by juggernaut666 View PostWilder agreed to a 4 week old offer ?
Terms isnt a contract .
Wilder has done nothing more then run on social media again instead of contacting Hearn for an ACTUAL contract .....lol
The fight cant be agreed upon without any stipulations agreed to , another Wilder stunt to say look at me .
Hopefully he just signs it , guys annoying as hell .. lol
QUOTE=Patsfan bri;18854846]It wasn’t a 4 week old offer . Hearn stated on this board about the offer and it was on May 29th.[/QUOTE]

I'm optimistic."
Finkel said fighting in Britain was "not an impediment on our side."
"There are still some roads to cross but hopefully it will happen and we'll see the fight this year," Finkel said.
"If we're going to make the fight, the place where it will take place isn't going to be the problem. We have no problem going to the UK It never was a problem. Deontay has never had a problem with that."
Meanwhile Barry Hearn told ESPN a deal for any Joshua fight would need to be sealed quickly.
"They've got to make a decision realistically in the next few days," he said. "I think both of them want to fight each other, but there's obviously hurdles to come over.
