    Kiryl (#7)
    Hooker (#9)

    Also Ranked:
    Troya (#10)

    Off Boxrec:

    Top 4 Seeds:

    Regis (#1)
    Kiryl (#3)
Josh (#5, although Postol is #2 so a W over him is definitly gonna get him some points & push him above Kiryl & maybe Regis)
    Hooker (#6)

    Also Ranked:

    Troya (#8)
    Anthony (#10)
    Ivan (#15)
    Ryan (#30)

I think its a safe bet Regis & Josh are 1 & 2 seeds however things shake out with Postol, as long as he wins of course.

Kiryl is likely 3. And Hooker 4.
I see so the number 1 guy going to fight the number 8 guy then 2 to fight 7 and so forth?

Scum Arum putting his own series smh.

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum has a plan he hopes put into place for a series of fights at junior welterweight. Oklahoma City contender Alex Saucedo (27-0, 17 KOs) is already scheduled to fight Australia’s Lenny Zappavigna (37-3, 27 KOs) in the co-feature on the June 30 Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card in Oklahoma City and Jose Ramirez (22-0, 16 KOs) is slated to make his first world title defense against Danny O’Connor (30-3, 11 KOs) on the July 7 Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card in Ramirez’s hometown of Fresno, California. Beyond that, Arum said that if Saucedo wins he will be in the mandatory position to challenge Maurice Hooker (24-0-3, 16 KOs), who upset Terry Flanagan by split decision in England on Saturday to win a vacant 140-pound title. Arum said he spoke to Hooker promoter Dino Duva of Rock Nation Sports on Monday and “I hope Hooker can come down to Oklahoma City and watch that fight and then I would match Saucedo with Hooker with the winner of that fight to go against Jose Ramirez (in a unification fight).”

No. And this is what I might love the most about this series BESIDES top guys fighting each other.

The #1 seed gets to pick any unranked fighter to fight in the opening round. Then the #2 guy picks who he wants to fight. Then the #3 guy picks. And then the #4 guy & whoever remains are matched up. That sets up the brackets.

Gives it a lil more personality & drama if you ask me. I like it.

Dino Duva is with Roc Nation now (or has he been?) or is Rock Nation a whole other thing & thats not a mispelling?

This seems like a w/e thing to me doe. And isn't Hooker booked already for the WBSS tournament? I know they are paying less this year, but I still suspect it'll be more than Arum's tight pockets would give Hooker lol.

Should be Roc Nation. That's the reason i take these fighters commitment to the tournament with a pinch of salt until they get into the ring. Just look at Gassiev-Usyk now. Hopefully Hooker choose the WBSS route.

Arum priority has always been his company and his fighters. Putting up mismatches to make is fighters look good. His ESPN+ venture end in failure i really hope.

Well Arum's company SHOULD be his priority & his fighters. No one starts a business for charity or to not make money. There is no promoter or entity out here who's on some altruistic vibe for the soul of boxing.

But I think this is w/e cuz the WBSS gots a fatter wallet then Arum still I believe. I know this ESPN/ESPN+ deal lined Arum's pockets, but I'd think he'd wanna spend it on bigger draws then Maurice Hooker, no offense to Hooker. Or I guess if he's thinking to use this as a buy Hooker's title situation maybe he'd pay for it idk. I like Saucedo, but idk if he's been prepared enough to lift a title off of a guy like Hooker is the thing so it might be a buying of a title gone south lol. I mean its hardly a fight where I wouldn't give Hooker a chance to win so idk that it'd be a good idea to overpay Hooker if I was Arum.

If Usyk/Gassiev does not happen, WBSS is a joke. This was their coup de grace, the one fight that everyone has been looking forward to. It's your ****ing duty to find a place that will work for this fight. Germany, Poland, hell put it in the O2 in London, the British fans know a good fight when they see one, they'll show up. Or even MSG, somewhere just get the damn fight settled. And if they can't, give Briedis the shot not Tabiti, FFS.

I understand that but what about putting his fighter in the WBSS to show that he is the best. Surely it doesn't hurt his fighter if he manage to do well in the tournament. In my opinion Gilberto Ramirez would've done pretty well if he was in the tournament and might've just won it.

Btw i wonder how Prograis gonna say about this. He's the mandatory to Ramirez and hearing Arum has other plans for his fighter.

My thinking is Arum will only put Ramirez in with Prograis if he manage to win the tournament and Ramirez getting few more wins to build up the fight.

Arum has his own dates to fill plus wants to be getting max upside from his fighters which you don't make free lancing them out.
