they aint going to fight each other so forget it. both are to cowardly to do it. years ago top contenders HAD to fight each other before they were even considered for a title shot. not that way today. after GGG retires MW will be a disaster like the HW after the Klit bros retired. MW will be scared to fight each other with 3-4 guys fighting bums to grab a meaningless title

Why aren't fans DEMANDING this fight??? This is literally one of the best matchups to make at 160. GGG is king of 160 Canelo is cash king of 160. The rest of these guys ain't **** and have done absolutely nothing at 160. they need to be fighting for that #3 spot yet they're all avoiding each other and crushing bums and fans are giving them a pass

The posters on this site who are the most vocal about 160 seem to care more about the prospect of Golovkin losing than anything else. They'd rather see Jacobs and Charlo fight turds while waiting for a Golovkin shot than fight each other.

I've seen Jrock fight in person. Was never impressed by him. He's a barely above average boxer with more confidence than talent. Jacobs is much better than Jrock so I wouldn't really compare the situations.

Not sure who wins Jacobs/Charlo. On one hand Jacobs is naturally a little bigger than Charlo and has faced better fighters with mixed results. Charlo hasn't faced anyone truly elite and got the nod in a close fight with trout that some had him losing (albeit at a lower weight that he claimed he was struggling to make).

Either way I highly highly doubt it gets made next.

I like the fact that Jacobs is barking up a big dogs tree, this fight needs to happen for the middleweight division and Why not have it next? They have a good storyline, and legitimate beef.

lil g is the focus here. No lil g protection act is allowed here. Mall/Jacobs can happen later.
