    NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs would "love" to fight Billy Joe Saunders next. Jacobs even embraced the thought of challenging England's Saunders for his WBO middleweight title in the United Kingdom during a post-fight press conference early Sunday morning at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Eddie Hearn, Jacobs' promoter, thinks that transatlantic trip might be the only way Brooklyn's Jacobs could land a shot at Saunders' title because Saunders would want too much money to box Jacobs in the United States.

    I saw a video of BJS asking Hearn why he doesn't make this fight.

    Hearn replied: "It would be difficult, because he earns more than you, and you wouldn't take a pay cut"

    So by saying BJS would price himself out, what Hearn actually means is that Jacobs would price himself out by expecting to be paid more than the champion in a title fight.

        Not sure if you're from the UK but help me out. Wouldn't this be a big fight over there? Am I overestimating Saunders's popularity? Couldn't this fight make enough to get both guys several million?

        Seems like Eddie is full of it with this comment.

                  BJS isn’t that big over here among casuals. There’s still plenty of tickets available for his next fight whereas AJ, Bellew-Haye, Khan all sell out really fast
