What people who are unbiased will look at is how ****** and crude golovkin looks vs a fighter with any sort of defense, and with CLEAN shots coming back in combination and getting hit with them, doesn't show me it was a golovkin win. Not even a little bit.

His jab is elite and he has no tell on it, very unpredictable and heavy. With all his other shots they are kind of meh. But as you correctly pointed out, when they do land, he's so heavy handed that they make a difference, and just the threat of his power becomes a deterrent. If you have a lapse in concentration and he land's that left hook or right hand, you are going to be in trouble. Plus he does have some subtlety do his work, great engine, some skill.
But I'm with you it's all predicated on his heavy handedness, he is a b level fighter with A+ power. But in general...overrated.
