Or it could even be Arum cuz Arum's been talking about signing PBC guys & Bud, Manny & Horn fights could be doable over that way.
But yea I wouldn't be surprised if Thurman is jumping ship. Can't do this PBC thing when its going to parts unknown & lacks a general direction still 3 years in or is in a rebuilding/recovery stage.
The only way Thurman leaves PBC and choosing his own opponents, is if Haymon finally says, no more running and hiding, you gotta fight Spence.
Also, Manny and Horn are both not with TR, so Thurman can fight them anyway. Pac has made clear he doesn't want anyone tougher than Matthysse, but Horn is possible and just as likely with PBC as with anyone else. If he is that scared of Spence, I don't see him in any rush to fight Bud either. He can go to Hearn I guess. Have a round robin at 154 or a catchweight of 150 with Khan, Brook, and Ali-Smith winner.
There is no way he goes anywhere and has it as good as he does now. The reason Thurman isn't on ppv and making $5 mill a fight is because of Thurman, not any promoter or lack thereof. He has chosen to fight once every other year. He is choosing to not fight Spence. He is choosing not to fight DSG or Porter in his comeback fight and he was too scared to face Vargas too.
Who knows, maybe he does go to Arum. He is probably looking at Bud, and seeing him get ranked higher on p4p charts and who gets paid similar, even a little more, than Thurman, and yet he can fight guys like Diaz, Postol, and Horn. And with Haymon Thurman has to take fights like Porter and DSG and Spence before too long.

We're all expecting a tune up opponent so there's really no reason to delay the announcement. With a tune up opponent you at least need a good undercard to help sell tickets. No undercard announced. I'll be surprised if he fights in May
