I really want to like Thurman and tbh I liked him a hell of a lot back in the early days, but this **** isn't acceptable, finding an opponent for Thurman isn't a hard task and I get it he doesn't want a top 20 opponent on his return, but he can at the very least schedule an opponent who has enough time to prepare for a tough fight, surely!!
Everybody was rooting for Keef. We thought he was the anti-Floyd. He turned out to be worse.

All it means his he'll be fighting a nondescript opponent. We already knew that though.

Keith should've already had an opponent, promotion, and tickets on sale. Keith is a big name but not big enough a name to sell tickets in 6 weeks. There would need to be a big promotional push to sell tickets that late and Keith will be in training camp. He can't properly train and promote it the way it would need to be promoted.

The fight is the same day as the Stevenson-Jack fight but separate sites. The Stevenson-Jack card has an undercard set. Thurman's card doesn't have an undercard set. Jack and Stevenson have already started posting training videos online showing they're in camp. Thurman is still posting his highlight videos and throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game.
Good points yea its getting kinda late. But the opp is not going to be good so them having less time to prepare will be *****ed by money. But you would think tickets and stuff would be going by now.

Yep. Everybody knows it's going to be a tune up. Keith made that clear in January. We're all expecting a tune up opponent so there's really no reason to delay the announcement. With a tune up opponent you at least need a good undercard to help sell tickets. No undercard announced. I'll be surprised if he fights in May
