This thread is laughable! Wilder fans disrespecting Whyte, forgetting that at 29 years old Wilder was still learning on the job and looked like **** in fights, he still does! Whyte has improved massively since the Joshua fight.

Whyte went into the Joshua fight with no real team behind him, and injured! since that fight he has had surgery, got himself known and got a good team behind him, a full time trainer, we are only now seeing the benefit of that and he WILL improve.

Look at how much more explosive he was in this fight, the power has improved drastically. He has fought and beaten British level fighters, then European and now an ex world champion, what more does he have to do to deserve a shot at bumsquad himself. Whyte has a better CV than Wilder FFS! and doesn't get outboxed by guys like Washington and Spzilka.

It's nearly as bad as AJ fanboys saying Wilder has to earn a shot at AJ.... you can't have it both ways! you either admit Whyte deserves a shot at the WBC or lose all credibility as a fan of the sport.

Whyte has improved, but lets not act like last nights fight is a showcase of what Whyte is capable against a top tier opponent. Browne showed up to the fight looking like he just spent a year drinking a case of beer a day in his trailer. Every punch he threw looked like he was fighting under water. Even the Sky sports guys said "This is the perfect opponent to make Whyte look good"

Despite the opponent being awful I still managed to see drastic improvements in Whyte, his technique is FAR better than it was 2 years ago.

I've followed Whyte for years, before the drugs ban, I like to think I can see improvements in technique over time, and believe me when I say that what I seen last night was a very good performance and a systematic breakdown of an old but still dangerous fighter. I knew Whyte would win but I seen things from Whyte that I haven't seen before, the jab was far better and more powerful, he was sitting down on punches and his right counter was fast and much better. His movement and foot work is better as well, he used to be too loose and floaty and that affected his balance and power, he's made the jump to fringe world level IMO.

I believe he is good enough to compete with Wilder and give him a tough fight, and I thin that he has earned a shot at the WBC, and that's all that matters.

Any one saying he doesn't is a Wilder fanboy. It's laughable on here the bias, like WTF did Wilder do to earn a shot in the first place? Whyte has far exceeded Wilder at the same point in his career.

Whyte is a Hearn Fighter and the No1 WBC contender there is no way possible Hearn would let Wilder near Joshua without giving his other fighter Whyte his rightful chance.

The fanboy stuff is great but you have to be logical about these things we are talking about peoples careers. Hearn represents both men and both are earning him money.

If i was Wilder I would not even do the Sky Commentating it is surely I setup to let Whyte embarrass him.

I'm not a fanboy, And I agree that Whyte has made improvements, but I don't see him faring well against a healthy, 225lb Wilder. I knew that Whyte would win too, but I also didn't expect Browne to look so awful. I think that if Tyson Fury fought last night, he would have been in better shape than Browne was.

as for if Whyte deserves a title shot, he's the mandatory so obviously he does. We just want Aj vs Wilder first, tired of waiting for a heavyweight superfight and don't want to see mandatories lol

Apparently nobody knew who Wilder was ( his made up fan club ) until Joshua came on the scene with the Martin win .

Joshua got more noteriety in his pro DEBUT at the O2 arena than Wilder did in his first title fight vs Stiverne ,think about that .

More fans talked about Whytes 2015 fight with Joshua than ANY Wilder fight prior to Ortiz ,

The clown IS ranked number ONE in Wilders WBC , dont you see what fools you sound like belittling his OWN competition ? lol

You guys are shook ,personally Wilder shouldn't fight Whyte bc its a close to even fight in different ways than Ortiz is . You guys want the Joshua fight bc you dont trust Wilder holding his 0 losses for another fight or two , we all know this .

                    SHOOK !

It’s ridiculous to suggest Whyte doesn’t deserve his chance at the WBC belt, I couldn’t careless if the holder is wilder to be honest, funny how Whyte is a “bum” or protecting Joshua.

The man fought to get himself to this point, I don’t even think Wilder did anything close to what Whyte has done in getting the chance to fight as the mandatory challenger.

Whyte is not there to do Wilder any favours, Whyte himself want the AJ rematch and beating Wilder would enhance that rematch. So more power to him, for selfish reasons we would all want that belt in one place but I personally couldn’t care Whyte stops that from happening.
