If you think Easter has that much of a bigger draw than those other guys, that Garcia has to take that fight is laughable. Everyone knows easter more but that doesn't mean anything. It's not like he's a draw to a broner level. The more interesting matchups are at 140. Easter doesn't do anything for Garcia.

Mikey knows the fans will put pressure on him to face Loma once loma beats linares. Hes been saying in interviews how he feels stronger at 135 and wants to have a couple more fights there and unify with easter, now they announce the loma linares fight and he changes his tune and even robert garcia says now that loma linares is happening mikey will stay at 140. What a joke. I almost crapped myself when robert garcia said "you know how mikey like those tough fights" lmao

is this a joke? he should go back to 135 where he isnt as flabby and fight loma to show us whether he is the great technician. i would love to see loma vs mikey. i think the garcias will keep mikey away from loma for as long as they can. 147 is full of killers who can take punches and mikeys power will not be the same against guys like spence, the purto rican garcia, porter, thurman etc they will all take him to deep water. id rather see him stay at 140. this belt hunting is a joke. mikey has enough belts but will never get the same glory as guys like de la hoya or marquez if he doesnt fight the best guys at his own weight. though if he did go up to 47 and challenge any of the four guys ive mentioned, id give him major props for being a true warrior.

Personally i would love him to move back down to 135 after Loma takes care of Linaires then we can get the Loma-Garcia super fight that i dare say everybody would want to see.
I guess its upto Garcia cause i know Loma would take that fight in a heart beat.

I think that 135 may be Loma's ceiling. 140 may be too much although his skills may carry him through. It's the size that worry's me.
