Mike Tyson was Respectful. Wilder is Not.

Here's Tyson after knocking out a 38 year old Holmes:

"Well, Larry is a good name to have on my resume, but in his prime I wouldn't stand a chance".

Tyson who's often described as a bully and menacing was a humble and paid respect to past fighters.

Once he was asked by Merchant whether past fighters would perform as he would (he put on a mediocre performance) and replied "yes, Jack Dempsey when he fought..." and basically shut up Merchant. He was a student of history and respected past fighters.

Similarly, Ali wouldn't say he would beat Marciano when he was asked in a BBC interview, "Rocky was a devestating puncher so he'd hurt you on the arms, he didn't have to catch me flush...he hurt you with anything, shoulders arms.."

What kind of man cheer leads for another man every time someone says something unflattering about him?

Wilder kinda represents this new era, in that he's a race baiting idiot, all style and no substance.

                WHAT?

Of course you want Fighters to be Submissive because that is exactly how the fans are Submissive to guys who they're fans of! You can have the utmost respect for Legends and still be confident in yourself without being a Submissive little B1TCH

I will say though that Wilder Approach is 100% a Turn Off! I'm not much of a fan but I don't hate the guy either like some. I just don't like his Skill Set or Lack Of Rather. Too Wild for me but his Power is Scary I will never deny that. Tyson just said he has to fight somebody as did Holyfield, they wasn't disrespecting him, they're 100% Right

You Want respect and to be mentioned with The Greats and want Acknowledgment from the Greats...EARN IT! You can't talk your way into Greatness Wilder, you can't Scream "BOMB SQUAD" into Greatness Either! Gotta Earn it in the ring and tomorrow will be a start for him if he beats Ortiz impressively
