As a HUGE Sasha Alexander Povetkin fan, I feel like the little Russian might just become a victim of and might just experience UK public animal slaughter / execution at the hands of Anthony Joshua like an animal getting slaughtered / executed.

I really don't wish to see Alexander Povetkin's corpse laid in the ring and be decapitated into multiple pieces. It'd be a sight of absolute horror, gruesomeness, goriness and disgust. Especially before Fifa world cup football 2018 takes place in Russia and a Russian getting BRUTALLY murdered by a British. It'd put Russians into more shame and embarrassment!

It feels like a mismatch of the highest order. Alexander Povetkin is physically too weak and small to belong in the same ring as a monster and giant like Anthony Joshua.

Both resumes show otherwise as Parker arguably lost to Takam and Ruiz who is smaller than Povetkin ,and isnt even built for a modern HW division . He also failed to k.o Hughie the lightest hitting HW who out pointed him with actual clean punches landed .

Povetkin has never been K.od . So theres nothing to compare Joshua too to get the conclusion he cant hit hard with no K.O .

Beterbiev is a 6'0 light HW so your disproving your own size theory using him as an ex to that of 6'4 240 Parker .

All your points have again been proven hollow besides that obviously Joshua should win bc chsnces are slim for Povetkin. .

        Do the Parker match .

Why are you talking about Parker in an Alexander Povetkin vs Anthony Joshua thread?

FACT is, Alexander Povetkin vs Anthony Joshua is an INSANE mismatch of the highest and of the most astronomical orders. Alexander Povetkin doesn't deserve to share the same ring with a giant and a monster like Anthony Joshua.

You haven't provided any stats because stats requires numbers and you haven't provided any numbers. You've just provided your own opinion of who's better in specific departments.

Joseph Parker is inexperienced but physically deserves to share the same ring with Anthony Joshua because he is a REAL heavyweight, unlike Alexander Povetkin.

Chances aren't slim for Alexander Povetkin to beat Anthony Joshua. Rather, there exists no chance, not even 0% chance that Alexander Povetkin can POSSIBLY beat Anthony Joshua. Alexander Povetkin is naturally the same size as Artur Beterbiev or cruiser weights at max without the unnecessary fat in his body. If he loses the body fat, Povetkin is a light heavyweight (like Artur Beterbiev) and maximum cruiser weight. He is physically smaller than Oleksandr Usyk (who stands a better chance at beating Joshua) and at 6 foot 2 / 1, is closes to the size of Artur Beterbiev.

Truth is, performance enhancing drugs is the reason why he was able to even compete at heavyweight, despite being a FAKE heavyweight and a blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight. He was able to overcome his lack of NATURAL size at heavyweight as a FAKE heavyweight by artificially enhancing himself using performance enhancing drugs. Without them, he is like a small bug / insect / ant that can be squashed like one with the utmost ease by REAL heavyweights like Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury.

Anthony Joshua doesn't even need to prepare / train for Alexander Povetkin. That's how much of a mismatch it is. Joshua can probably come in without a day of training and still squash a fake heavyweight like Alexander Povetkin that happens to be a blown up light heavyweight like he was a bug / ant / insect.

Alexander Povetkin vs Anthony Joshua is such a big mismatch that it shouldn't even take place and REAL boxing fans who care about fighter's safety should condemn this bout from taking place. Since Povetkin stands 0% chance of beating Anthony Joshua, just like how a small bug stands 0% chance at beating an Elephant in a fight.

Alexander Povetkin might just get publically slaughtered / executed like an animal at the hands of Anthony Joshua in the UK. It might just be a disgusting / gruesome sight. It'd be disgusting to see Povetkin being relegated to being a Russian slaughtered / executed animal victim.

No, I believe I'm keeping it very real! I think you are overestimating Alexander Povetkin and underestimating Anthony Joshua if you fail to REALIZE how much of an INSANE mismatch to astronomical proportions this bout is between Alexander Povetkin and Anthony Joshua against Alexander Povetkin. Alexander Povetkin is simply just like a small bug / insect that can be squashed with the utmost ease by someone who is a GIANT / MONSTER like Anthony Joshua. This is an even worse of a mismatch than George Foreman vs Joe Frazier!

Another Russian gets brutalized (particularly by a BRIT) and Russians are going to get further embarrassed and humiliated, especially before the 2018 world cup in their home country.

Oleksandr Usyk stands a better chance at beating Anthony Joshua because even if he is much smaller in size, he can at least make up for it with his skills because he is MUCH more skilled than Alexander Povetkin by a SIGNIFICANT and an ASTRONOMICAL margin.

Mini, pudgy, chubby, unathletic and overweight fake heavyweight that happens to be a blown up cruiser weight / light heavyweight with such low skills in Alexander Povetkin does not deserved to be in the same ring as a giant / monster like Anthony Joshua.
I'm uncertain at which point(s) you were shooting for ironic hyperbole, but I would be surprised if you actually think Usyk has a better shot despite never being tested against heavyweight firepower and having such a short--however impressive--pro curriculum vitae. It's way too early for those projections. At least, if you meant that sincerely, it takes some of the edge off your (possibly ironic?) shots at Russians.

I'm actually being serious! Why is it so difficult for people to understand how much of a mismatch Povetkin vs Joshua is? Povetkin is a blown up light heavyweight fighting against a REAL super heavyweight in Anthony Joshua. That's like Andre Ward or Sergey Kovalev gaining 30 pounds of fat and then competing at heavyweight against Anthony Joshua. What do you think would happen to them?

Joshua easily stomps Povetkin like he was a bug and makes him an animal slaughter victim. Povetkin GENUINELY stands 0% chance of possibly ever beating Anthony Joshua. His body is too small. His fists are too small and is physically too weak to compete against Anthony Joshua.

"Why are you talking about Parker in an Alexander Povetkin vs Anthony Joshua thread? "

Because it shuts down any form of boxing talk you try and discuss bc it is showing smaller Povetkin still poses more danger than Parker does . Wheather you pretend my numbers which ive posted on Parker or opinions dont hold weight is no concern of mine , i assure you i wont lose sleep over it !

If you cant see without numbers than your lost anyway .

The Parker argument shuts it down bc your whole center of attention is size and knock outs which than DISQUALIFIES all the other fighters who are not favored anymore than Povetkin would be .

But you know that already otherwise you wouldn't be on this forum other than to troll bc you are basically just making threads of " Should Joshua be barred from boxing since hes favored over everyone " !

And you know Povetkin is a top 5 fighter yet you claim he shouldn't even be at HW ,a division you NEED punching power more than the other divisions ! Why are you even commenting on a fighter you deem overrated hype job and puncher if you feel hes too much for everyone ?

Why are you even watching the HW weight class if its so weak that guys like Povetkin are to small and Joshua needs all these steroids to defeat such a weak era ? HaHa Your literally on other threads calling some reverse b.s about Klitchko chin proving Joshua cant punch bc he was defeated in 2003 ?????

Since Povetkin like OTHERS will be a huge under dog , instead of disguising your real intention and thats just to troll anyway in general and are finding a not so clever way to discredit Joshua ....

You got to be around 18 or so bc no adult could possibly put this much effort to discredit themselves with bizarro world logic and words that screams "I m on drugs but dont mind me " .....lol

"Let us know when Anthony Joshua, despite his big and muscular body can actually CRACK AN EGG and actually KO his opponents cleanly and concussively without needing BS PREMATURE ' TYPICAL BRITISH STOPPAGES'. Until then, his big muscles are good for nothing or for very little "

Finishes guys with far less punches .

Defeated what will be 6 undefeated fighters .

Yet defeats Molina in 3 rnds (though you praise Wilder s power )

And Jason Gavern who fought BOTH said Joshua hits harder than Wilder .

These are ACTUAL in ring comparisons !

Mr . Smart Guy ! ........ so i'll just end it there .

Povetkin has looked at times completely brilliant and others completely shot in recent years. Some say it's PED use... I withhold judgement/and opinion on that matter. He has just looked really inconsistent.

Personally I would rather Povetkin face Pulev and the winner of that fight get Joshua. That would tell us a lot more about where both guys are.

If Povetkin blasts out David Price and gets the Joshua fight in the summer.... who fuckin' knows?
