Funny or not, it's true. Ring & ESPN both had him #2.

Who cares. They have all types of cans rated highly all over the place in boxing.

Even though Lennox was at his peak when he stopped an under experience Vitali at that time. He retired at his peak rather than re-do the Vitali fight again. Plus Tyson was declining. Prime Tyson would’ve railroaded Lennox. Great no.

That's fine. But when a guy is consensus #2 or #3 in ESPN, Ring, TBRB, etc you can't pretend after the fact that he was a bum. He was the WBC heavyweight champion of the world. He was a top guy. He lost. Now Wilder is a consensus #2 or #3 in the world. What's the problem?

Just because we could communicate and learn from are mistakes. You become better in every aspect that we can. To say you can't compare it just don't make sense because that's what you learned from to become as great as you are today. The rushing records constantly getting broken in football or just Tom Brady. Or Lebron becoming the youngest person hit the 30000 point mark. Michael Phelps shattering everywhere swimming record. That's because of the work ethic these people are learning. To say the past can compete it's just not real. Yeah they were amazing of their time but as of right now our current athletes are amazing of our time and all time. And if possible 30 years down the road will even be better than they are now
It is not skill, it is ALL SCIENCE! In the past folks were on steroids... today there are hundreds of other options that do the same.

The name of the game is to be on something that is NOT YET banned by the authorities.

With Phelps... yep, science... including the science involved in developing swimsuits that repel water better.

If you're lying about that, what else are you lying about?
Stiverne was never considered one of the best fighters in the world, that is a ludicrous claim. He picked up a vacant title off a washed up, out of shape Arreola.
Since you're asking questions, I've got a couple. How many fights ago was that again Wilder fought Stiverne and how long does one decent win hold relevance? Stop trying to make Wilder's flimsy resume out to be anything other than what it is, a turd sandwich.
Only if Wilder can become the unified, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world should he be talking about how he would demolish great champions of the past. Up until then, he should quit running his mouth and do what Lewis said, focus on becoming the best of his generation.

I'm sorry that you find the facts upsetting, but the facts are what they are. ESPN, Ring, TBRB and many others had Stiverne #2 or #3 in the world before he fought Wilder the first time. There are 7 billion people on Earth. I'd say being #2 qualifies you as "one of the best."

He's obviously overdue for another big win, but he signed to fight Povetkin (in Russia no less!) and he signed to fight King Kong. They both cheated. That is not Wilder's fault. His actions show that he wants to fight the best. He's giving King Kong another chance. No other heavyweight champion was going out of their way to face King Kong, let alone in a voluntary defense.

Stop being a hater. Through no fault of his own, Wilder only has one signature win and it was three years ago. He's taking a big chance, making a voluntary against the #1 ranked non-champion in boxing right now (the other champions are unavailable). There's literally nothing else Wilder can do right now other than fight the best contender and then try to unify.

You guys still whining and moaning must have horrible lives. The four best heavyweights in the world, all of whom are undefeated, are fighting each other in March, yet some still find reasons to complain. It's pathetic.
