gayweather jr would wait until that fighter would get beat by someone else or was past prime. only then would he fight. that's been froid's MO his whole career. never forget tbe stands for the best excuses.

That was a rhetorical question. A fight with Pac can only be good for Loma. The only reason to turn this type of fight down is if his promoter doesn't think he can win.

Point is, whether the fight is on HBO or ESPN or FS1 or whatever, Arum has enough puppets and shills in the boxing media to spin the narrative into something really good for Loma.
If you dont even know what network Loma and Pacquiao and Top Rank are on you shouldnt even be commenting. You just went full ******

If Loma turns this down and still has trouble finding some fights since other champions refuses to unify, then it's their fault.
Pacquiao MIGHT be too big, but he did start at the lighter classes and he's old. It's worth considering.

If Loma doesn't get the torch passed from Pacquiao, in terms of star power, before Pacquiao retires, then who is he ever going to get it from? There is no one else, not unless Floyd comes back. This could be the one opportunity Loma will ever get to skyrocket his career to the casual fans and get all the opportunities he wants after this. If he beats Pacquiao he could become the new cash cow and suddenly have every opponent he wants lining up at his door, which is actually what he has been wanting in order to fast track his legacy and do something great in the sport.

But if you can't get opponents to fight you on your fast schedule, then you can't forge the legacy you want. Just look at how GGG's career has suffered because he never got the torch passed from a star like Pacquiao early in his career. This is the one chance for Loma to have that, but Egis seems to underrate that.

With that said, if they have Berchelt lined up for April now that Mijares is out, that's the best fight at 130 not involving duckers, so maybe they feel they can finally get all the other guys at 130 in the ring with them now. maybe now they feel they have the commercial appeal, after beating Rigo, to actually get these fights on their schedule even without Pacquiao passing the torch. And if they can fully unify 130 by the end of 2018, that could have a similar effect in raising his profile, as well as perhaps helping his legacy even more, than fighting Pacquiao. But to unify 130 before the end of 2018, he needs to fight three more champions in his next three fights. Just because they can get Berchelt to fight them doesn't mean they can get anyone else. But, maybe they know something we don't?

And Loma will probably never be better than he is at 130, so if this means more of seeing the best at his best, that's also not a bad thing. So, we dont know what they know, or what the plan is, but I'm just saying, it better be good, with lots of top opponents already lined up, for them to pass on Pacquiao, provided, of course, that Pacquiao is still willing to come down to 135. At 140, the size advantage could be massive.
I think Loma will be fighting on Ppv soon within 3 or 4 fights without Pacquiao but a win against Pacquiao would put him there right away. Oh well Berchelt is a great fighter if he can get him to fight. Im sure hed move up to 135 and fight Beltran if he gets the Wbo at 135. Linares said hed fight Loma. Theres good fights out there.

                      Here we go again LOL

Casuals demanded Rigo fight. Loma did not want it until he was hounded to death by Rigo and Casuals. After the fight Loma was a "cherry picker."

Now certain fans want him to face an aging Manny. Same story, Loma is not interested, but the weird fans will hound him to death. If they do fight, Loma would just be labeled a cherry picker yet again for beating an old man.
