All the belts was his dream when Wards name was brought up, but then he wanted Chavez and Froch who are not belt holders at 160, he even offered to move up to 168 to fight them. He also wanted Floyd at 154, made a big noise about it and how he was willing to go down even though that was clearly keeping him further from his dream.
He mentioned Martinez but didn't aggressively chase him until Cotto held the belt. Then he wanted Cotto who i believe gave him a step aside money ( shocking to see a man sell off his dream like that) Cotto lost to Canelo which made Canelo the champion. He went after Canelo, Canelo gave him the belt. He took it and rather than go after Saunders aggressively, he still went after Canelo.
Got the Canelo fight while Canelo is not a belt holder at 160. Now he is sitting down waiting for a Canelo rematch even though there is no belt with Canelo but Saunders is totally free and has a belt - same belt he badly wants so he can achieve his dream.
The amount of effort he used in chasing Canelo and cotto was amazing. Yet we don't see that same attitude with Saunders.
Let's call it what it is, GGG is a business man just like every other fighter who gets to the top of boxing. This argument will keep irritating others as long as his fans keep denying that simple fact.
Funny enough, I missed some in-between facts up there cuz I know GGG is more obsessed with money fights than what I just wrote.
there is too much truth to read there
what will happen is a golovkin fan will read through and then say "didnt read that drivel" ....LOL

keep in mind golovkin has passed legacy defining fights in order to reach his dream....also keep in mind hes taken step aside money from Jr MWs to let them play with the WBC belt for awhile.....
he still needs that WBO belt....which makes me wonder why hes going after canelo again instead of saunders....but i wont knock him for going after the brinks truck....just always thought it was his big dream to get all them trinkets

I'm a die hard fan of Floyd, some can even call me a full blown ***** - obsessed beyond belief but I still call BS when it's the truth. Why cover up? Are they an investor in GGG?
It's crazy man.

Which means Ward had plenty of time calling GGG's bluff.
Didn't do anything.
Today GGG has plenty of options to stay in his division.
If this is about GGG ducking Ward again doe.
After the fight fell apart, Ward moved up to fight the perceived killer Kovalev and GGG drug the #3 or #4 welterweight (Brook) up not one but two weight classes for a fight. So who was looking to make tough fights and who wasn't?

They knew Ward would be hard pressed to make 168 and 164 would be impossible. They could act like they wanted a Ward fight, talk big shyte but wouldn't actually have to fight Ward.
