    You look at most commissions and they use the same refs time and time again regardless of their performance.

    They need to have a system in place to improve standards and lets the best refs rise to the top and the bad one drop out of the game.

    Incentives always work.

    Nepotism or favoritism usually gets ****ty results.

    But most people know this.

    Doing something about it is a different story.

      Got to laugh how many husbands and wives officials they are in boxing

        Should go through and make a list.

        I know Lawrence Cole the ref is the son or nephew of a judge- can't recall the judge's name.

          That would be a great thread.

          It's a family business in a lot of cases.

          And the 60,70,80 year old judges who can barely see, and they get big fights to officiate.

          Aren't Byrd and Ross married to other boxing officials as well.

          It would be good if we had a system where ex boxers can become judges and refs.

          Will help them in their post career, where a lot struggle and they will understand the game and have the respect of other boxers.
