A nice compliment to my new favorite boxer, welcome back to the stable! Mentioning Saunders in the same breath as the Great Sweet Pea is an honor for Saunders. He deserves it. Last night was something else. He better keep that shit up though.
Never slack off again.

I thought it might be but wasn't sure.
Thanks for clearing it up.
I've seen the spitting the mouthpiece out rule violated many times, but I've seen refs take points, like in the first Corrales-Castillo fight.
Another that is not allowed but goes on in boxing without refs holding fighters to account is when fighters just stick one hand out to measure the opponent and throw the other.
It is crazy that some fighters have made a their career on illegal boxing tactics.

I think I saw Donny Lalonde do the sticking hand out thing against Leonard way back in the day while watching their fight the other day. Lalonde got warned I think but of course, no point deduction. Ha.

Verbal warning first, then a hard warning, then a point deduction, then a 2 point deduction then DQ.
But usually the warnings are good enough for the fighter to stop doing illegal moves, then you get a clean fight, a better fight and a fair result.
You look at most commissions and they use the same refs time and time again regardless of their performance.
They need to have a system in place to improve standards and lets the best refs rise to the top and the bad one drop out of the game.
