I think the bigger issue is the IGNORANCE that is coming with Loma success and the IGNORANT PEOPLE who are making Loma the face of their AGENDA which we all know what that is. That hurts his Brand more than it helps. To be a SUPERSTAR you need EVERYBODY watching and supporting you. That is what a "Crossover Superstar' is.

Loma is very confident but you can tell he really respect this sport and he wants to earn everything and wants nothing given to him. He does have some fans who are extremely Ignorant, no different Mayweather and Pacquiao having similar fans which ultimate made other fans hate them.

Where the negativity comes in toward Loma is when fans and people in the media goes TOO FAR with the hype and start disrespecting legends of this sport just to PRAISE Loma. It is really not necessary but it is done out of SPITE.

So this is nothing new in boxing! While Ray Leonard was a media darling in his prime, he had A LOT of people who hated him and thought he was Privileged not only because he came from a good family but also the way the media loved him and covered him and called his matches in a bias way for him as well no different than what we complain about today from HBO.

What looks bad from a lot of the youtube guys however is that a lot of them are not judging Loma by what they see in the ring. Instead they're stoop so low to TROLLS that they're judging him based on Ignorant Trolls Comments. It is a childish "Well You Disrespected Mayweather So I'm Disrespecting Loma". But fans today are petty like this on ALL SIDES it is not just one side doing it all. Even worse is media guys, guys who write for R I N G ****zine guys who are given Credentials, guys who write for ESPN who are participating in these Adolescent Antics

I think it hurts the sport far more than it helps it as a WHOLE when you have this divide among fans and boxing media and nobody is willing to try and put a end to the nonsense! If I'm a Casual new to boxing and I come and see nothing but negativity and racism, I wouldn't want any part of this sport.

I don’t hate anyone. I support plenty of non black fighters. Danny and Mikey Garcia, Mares, Santa Cruz, Carl Frampton and I like Canelo. Not really a fan of Thurman, Porter, Tim Bradley, Ward, who are all black, and Crawford is Ok. Don’t love him don’t hate him. So stop pretending to know what me or my organization is about. You make yourself look foolish.

Pretty much this. I never even talked about Roman Gonzalez when he was #1 for a hot minute, and there were plenty here to say that they don't like watching "midgets." That's what they said. I thought Rungvisai just barely edged it in the first bout, and when he won the 2nd time everybody called Roman a p4p "hypejob." Most of the context I used regarding Chocolatito was, as you share some same political observances, was that K2 exploited Choco for most of Golovkin''s fights and never gave him credit for GGg''s rating pull. A lot of Nicaraguan
viewrship didn't get credit even though HBO constantly hyped Arguello as a context...

as far as loma losing...its not a shame....but mikey fought salido at the same age

loma wouldnt have been in the ring with salido if he wasnt comfortable...loma isnt a a novice to boxing...he knows what goes on in the pros and how they train...he probably was training better than most pros when he was still an amatuer and has sparred with many pros...if he didnt feel capable and ready then he didnt belong in there...but he obviously did feel ok with it so its on him...he took an L

you dont jump in the ring with a salido in your 2nd pro fight looking for the glory and accolades that comes with that and not be able to take some criticism when you take the L tho
Same age but not same ring experience, Loma only had one pro fight.

And don't tell me amateur experience counts otherwise I will count amateur achievements in P4P debates and his 2 gold medals make him most def P4P king lol
