Kudos to Ali for sending Cotto to retirement with a defeat.
Cotto s a true legend who fought the best boxers during his active service in boxing.
I wish Ali will last long as a champion to unify the division.

Good for Ali. Bought himself several more real paydays. Big win for him.

Cotto leaving with a respected career, money, and his health. Win, win, win. Stay retired dear sir.

Has Freddy "The Joke" Roach ever actually taught any boxer anything ? He's gotta be the worst coach of all times. He teaches tornado-style boxing, whatever the f.ck that is.

He must've been born with some really special planetary alignment, because I've never seen someone so useless, receive so many undeserved accolades. SMH !

With the exception of Manny Pac, who was simply too naturally talented to ruin, I think he's made almost every fighter he's worked with worst.

When I think of great coaches I think of Cus D Amato, Manny Steward, Virgil Hunter, etc .

I wish him well, too, but unify where? At 147 or 154? Do you see him beating Spence, Charlo, Lara, Hurd? Or even Thurman, Porter, Garcia?

Cotto is a big name, but probably one of the most overrated fighters also.

Says no excuse but uses Pacquiao's shoulder excuse.

                I scored it 114-114 but no complaints w/ both 115-113, i thought 116-112 was a ****ty card

                1: 10-9 Cotto
                2: 10-9 Ali
                3: 10-9 Ali
                4: 10-9 Ali
                5: 10-9 Cotto
                6: 10-9 Cotto
                7: 10-9 Cotto
8: 10-9 Cotto (Ali had the one good uppercut, Cotto landed more clean punches esp. to the body)
                -----------
9: 10-9 Cotto (very close rd)
                10: 10-9 Ali
                11: 10-9 Ali
                12: 10-9 Ali

definitely one of the more overrated fighters on NSB, that's for sure

his biggest wins are Mosley who was 36 years old (a pretty good 36 tho), Martinez who was hobbling all over the place and had knee surgery afterwards, and Daniel Geale who agreed to come in 3 pounds below 160

Very close fight. I thought Cotto won. Ali didn't do enough to warrant that victory. My opinion.
