I think most fans appreciate greatness and domination like this and find it entertaining.

Not taking chances-with all due respect I always see this as coded language for Floyd not giving his opponent a chance to get a KO win because he will not fight recklessly once he has a huge lead.

respectfully, how can you not count those things? People pay to see fighters they are entertained by. They don't pay to see fighters they are bored by, right?

You are entitled to your opinion. I just think "entertaining" should be measured by subjective factors, not objective ones.
Some fighters can provide great entertainment even in matches that aren't evenly matched. Marquez is a fighter than was so much more skilled than his opponents and he fought responsibly and with the exception of Pacquaio IV really didn't put himself in a position to be KO'd but he entertained and often put something onto his punches. Lomachenko and Crawford are very dominant but they still make a point to entertain and usually don't coast.

PPV is often to do with marketability and appealing to casuals. I know most people were bored by Floy'd fights but would buy it anyway to see him lose. For me it was just not enough commitment to his shots, a little too much lateral movement and too much clinching. That's why I often didn't bother to watch him.

      Entertainers
      Felix Trinidad
      Juan Manuel Marquez
      Erik Morales
      Manny Pacquaio
      Marco Antonio Barrera
      Rafael Marquez
      Israel Vazquez
      Arturo Gatti
      Roman Gonzalez
      Diego Corrales

      Insomnia curers
      Andre Ward
      John Ruiz
      Sven Ottke
      Wladimir Klitshcko
      Floyd Mayweather
      Ricky Hatton
      Shawn Porter
      Winky Wright
      Bernard Hopkins
      Derrick Gainer

I know some will attack me for including Ottke and I know he's unbeaten doe but his fights were boring and ugly. Hopkins I respect as an all-time great fighter but his fights were often ugly and marred by wrestling, holding, injury feigning etc; The rest need no explaining.
Hatton was always in exciting fights! Floyd at 130-140 was exciting as well, I can understand why people feel he became boring later on, but in his early days Floyd was always fun to watch.

Devon Alexander had a belt at one point, right? In terms of entertainment he's the worst I've ever seen.

Another vote for Floyd at the lighter weights. Later in his career no.

I've seen them. I was a fan of his initially but at 135 he started getting boring. The Castillo fights were kinda boring (and Castillo entertained more often than not) and then whenever I bothered to watch him after that I was bored. Obviously at 147 and 154 he was awful to watch.

Fair enough man, it's all personal preference anyway. I still fought Floyd had some exciting fights above 130, like Gatti at 140 for instance. Cotto at 154 was fun as well IMO.

For example, Floyd sells the most tickets/PPv's at the highest prices. This is the primary measure of entertainment in film, music sports-sales, viewers, pricing level.

Or, are you measuring it a different way?
i swear, cant say anything bad about floyd without this nuggah coming in.
