Well, if Ortiz is out due to PEDs maybe they could call up "Minnesota Ice" Joey Abell to fight Wilder!

Huge shocker that Luis Ortiz would take drugs.... lol
Dam that's disappointing doe
EDIT: Turns out it was for blood pressure medication? That's even less surprising given that I heard Luis Ortiz was 137 years oldLast edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-29-2017, 01:50 AM.

Ortiz has a chance and he goes and ****s it up. Shame!
The guy that just drew with a career welter/super welter that had never fought an actual MW? Same guy who went life and death with Jacobs? Sorry but I don't think Jacobs is anywhere near P4P material.
Wilder has had 3 opponents in a row fail drug tests, Povetkin, Ortiz, and that tune up. He's clearing out the division without even fighting, his opponents all feel the need to cheat against him.

Luis Ortiz already explained the source of the positive test and in no way doubts it's accuracy.
Likewise Povetkin did not deny taking Meldonium either and did not suggest that the test was inaccurate. His defense had to do with the tests inability to specifically indicate when he had taken it.
If he has VADA in his pocket, why are the people who test positive admitting that the tests were accurate?Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-29-2017, 01:53 AM.

I'll reserve my comments until all the facts come out. They have all kinds of weird stuff on that banned substance list, stuff that we come in contact with the whole time, but given Ortiz' history it's not looking good.
