Wilder didn't want it, the WBC didn't want it either. Ortiz may take the title overseas and ruin the biggest fight in the heavyweight division with Joshua.

Boxing needs to permanently ban repeated offenders, I dont even care anymore if he got a doctors note...I'm done.

If Wilder actually does want to engineer a fanbase and some hype, instead of completely canceling the fight or fighting another no name, how about this... I bet Alexander Povetkin's schedule is relatively free right now, and he's also cleared to fight again after VADA's screw up over the legal amounts of meldonium in his system... how about call out Povetkin to replace Ortiz, if Ortiz isn't cleared?
Not that Povetkin is a proven elite heavyweight post-meldonium ban either, but at least that would be something. It would look good on paper. I mean, it's about time Wilder stepped up to the level of a guy who got knocked down like five times and shutout by Klitschko.
Lol Im just playing, it really would be a good step up for Wilder, and a decent way for him, and Showtime, to save the date... What do y'all think?

Wilder is protected occult establishment same as Joshua, Ward, Mayweather etc, Ortiz is not.

What kind of banned substance is it this time? is it necessarily a PED or could it be something minor? maybe something in a medication or so. I'll reserve my comments until all the facts come out. They have all kinds of weird stuff on that banned substance list, stuff that we come in contact with the whole time, but given Ortiz' history it's not looking good.
