Remember, this is for the "regular" WBA belt, a bogus title that even the organization itself said it'd eliminate. Why fight for that shit with Ward recently vacating most of the belts in the division? I'd say it's a good strategic move. I'm not a fan but Jack doesn't seem like the ducking type.

Jack vs Stevenson is likely happening which explains this move but we shall see. That is not even the real WBA Belt that is like some type of Assistant Champion to the Real Champion which was Ward so with Ward Vacating he can go fight for a REAL BELT or even better fight Stevenson for the WBC Strap!

Always felt like he was going to fight Adonis. Adonis has been ducking his mandatory for years, so I can see him not fighting Alvarez. Why fight Bivol, when you can fight Adonis - who is now the only legitimate champ at 175 and he is still the lineal champ, he beat the guy that beat the guy.

Ahh a world where fighters fight for money not belts. Jack would have no issue facing Bivol but uncle Floyd pulls the strings and will dictate who he fights next. With Ward's retirement he would have been to proper WBA champion too.
