Crawford makes bigger purses, is ranked higher p4p, and sells more tickets than Garcia. He doesn't need him. Crawford's first test at 147 should be Jesse Vargas and then Jeff Horn. Horn will duck him though. I would love to see Crawford vs Danny Garcia/Shawn Porter.

PBC is full of part-time boxers.
Most times they don't even fight each other.
Where is he going to get fights other than from outside of PBC?

Lets look at the time line:
1 Crawford fought the very best in his division. No question there. At the same time here was talk of Mikey moving up to 140 for a fight but instead decided to stay at 135, possibly fight Jorge Linares. Easy to verify, no question that's the way it went down.
2 After Indongo, nobody was left for Crawford at 140 so he moved up to a significantly more dangerous division. I Don't think anyone can dispute the WW division is packed with much more dangerous fighters. Next Crawford called out the very best in the 147lb division starting with the king pin Keith Thurman and said he's willing to fight Spence. Another easily verifiable fact, it's all there in his interview on national TV.
3 A few days ago Mikey Garcia changes his mind, doesn't need to stay at 135 anymore and is now willing to move up to 154 for Cotto. In conversation Garcia mentions Crawford as a possible future opponent. Again, this is all very easily verifiable, it was all over the news.
The time line is the time line, that's the way it went down.
That said, I don't understand what you are implying with your comment?
I can only assume by the nature of your post that you seem to think Mikey Garcia is a tougher fight at 147 then Thurman, Spence or even Danny Garcia.
Mikey beat a drained down, hollow Adrian Broner who was not the best at 135, 140, 147 or any other weight class.Last edited by factsarenice; 09-24-2017, 03:19 PM.

As for Crawford...I like Mikey but he has no intention of ever fighting Crawford. Robert Garcia has no intention of putting Mikey in the ring with Crawford and I don't blame him but for GOD SAKE please stop acting as if it's something either want, because they don't. This is right out of the Bill Jo Saunders BS play book.
Crawford is an athletic craftsman with a mean streak and a problematic style. Like Spence Crawford is a very high risk dangerous fighter. Smart fighters from 140- to 147 may talk about fighting Crawford or Spence but when given the chance they'll say "just not today."Last edited by factsarenice; 09-24-2017, 03:50 PM.
