Comments Thread For: McGregor's Coach: We Weren't Ready For Floyd Coming Forward

I think for the first five rounds, he will back up, he will lie on the ropes the way he does, he will cover up and try to just absorb, and try to wear Conor down. That’s how I think he’ll approach the fight.
“If he doesn’t take a back step, and we’ll all see it — we’ll all see their feet, we’ll all see who walks backwards — if he walks forward and exchanges, it’ll be a one-round fight. It’ll be over in a minute. Because he’d be fighting in such a way that’s not normal to him, he won’t have had time to develop the skillset for an aggressive exchanging fighter. Like I said, I didn’t know a lot about Floyd before this, but I did watch his fights for his defensive work. So for him to go in there and try to trade with Conor and not walk backwards, would be so alien to him but so normal for Conor — that’s exactly what Conor’s the best at — he’ll be unconscious in a minute."
Just look at his team.

I don't really care what they say , there is no game plan or strategy they couldve employ that will win them this fight , the "touch of death" left hand was nothing more then a myth , once that bubble burst and the "puncher chance" was gone , nothing else mattered.
You guy berating the corner makes it seems like with a more competent corner things would've been different , but the matter of fact is that Conor is a plumber gone super nova , he is not an athlete on Floyd caliber , and we can't even say their name in the same sentence when it comes to boxing.
the circus has left the city , let them go , every day i see 2/3 "news" items on this fight , wtf do i care what Aldo thinks about the fight , why is it on the BS front page.....
Back to the real world , great fights during the weekend and an amazing fight next week

Even doe Mayweather said it with a straight face, even doe Mayweather always attack southpaws. This just shows how inept connor team were going into this fight. I still think bringing in a boxing trainer to oversee his work would have made sense, someone like Nacho beristein. But they were just so cheap, they knew they were going to lose anyways, so why spend money on real boxers or trainers.

LOL, they weren't ready for Floyd coming forward. With that comment and after watching an Interview with Mcgregor after the fight where he mentioned at least twice about how proud of himself he was, I can't even stand to look at the guy anymore. MMA fans need to abandon this guy and let him retire with the money he conned from the people.
