What circumstances do you think Jermall Charlo vs Daniel Jacobs fight happening?

It appears even factors like being on same network, same Haymon stable, both are available, etc., don't always guarantee walk in the park way of making fights.
We all know Cnelo/Glovkin winner would want none of these guys. Cnelo for one don't even give a crap about mandatories. Glovkin would most likely resume business with Saunders.
Which basically means Charlo and Jacobs are just wasting their time for nothing. Or an excuse to duck fights or take long layoffs.

Gotta be able to think like a promoter without sympathizing with the promoter.

A loss to either of them gives the other top dogs an excuse to avoid them. A win by either would do the same.

Arum and Haymon come from the same school of business.

Charlo is the WBC mandatory challenger for the winner of Canelo Álvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin. My guess is after this fight he will try to make a title fight with the winner for later in the year. Wouldn't that be the best move?

If he can't then he will make another plan. Jacobs should've already had a planned fight in place. IMO he is waiting to see if GGG will rematch him and that is ridiculous. He needs to make a fight now.

If Charlo doesn't get the title fight, hopefully they will fight each other.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see it next year.

I think Jacobs would be glad to fight Jermall but I am not so sure Jermall would fight Jacobs. For all the calling out that Jermall does I have never heard him call Jacobs out and that goes double for loud mouth Lara. I think Jacobs would beat either of them. Ever since Jacobs's strong showing against GGG other middleweights act like he doesn't exist. Jacobs is the ultimate high risk, low reward guy right now since he has no title.
