What interview is that? Im sure i read a book the other day and Bruce said hed beat anyone. Bruce implying Ali would beat him, was made up after Bruces death by some big dude. Big guys dont like being inferior to little guys so would make anything up.
Nah he had God like status when alive. Living legend was often referred to him.

I'll have to look it up. It was in a ****zine from that time and there was a copy floating online.

He basically said something like "see his fists, they are much bigger then mine"...something like that. Mostly to do with size difference.

Despite centuries of opium use in China, narcotics in Hong Kong, as a British colony, was (and still is) very taboo. Prison sentences for traffickers are severe and those who use it, especially celebrities, are maligned accordingly (maybe someone who lives there now can confirm this?). Also, in Lee's case, according to the book, steroids helped to mitigate a congenital defect called ******rchidism (undescended testicle). IIRC he suffered from low testosterone levels due to this condition and therefore had problems gaining lean muscle mass. Regardless, because his reputation was based largely on his on-screen physical prowess, the most popular action-film super star using steroids would've been a huge scandal back then. Even now, this book has its detractors, those who cannot even consider the possibility of their hero being unclean despite symptoms of roid rage, large changes in body weight, etc.

Conor McGregor is, in effect, a disciple of Bruce Lee's philosophy...

Use what works, don't be stuck to a doctrine/discipline.
