Any doubt now that Castillo should not be fighting at 135???

All those that called Castillo a criminal for not INTENDING to make weight should eat their words. Last time he was injured and struggled to make the weight. This time he has had his weight regulated all the way down the line and is still too heavy. The man has been struggling to make lightweight healthily for almost two years. He should not be fighting at the weight, period.

Corrales took the second fight for the money, let's be honest. Nobody takes a career shortening beating like he took from Castillo then wants to do it again "for the fans." Corrales saw dollar signs because the second fight would be pay-per-view.

To all you that say Castillo is wrong to put Corrales at a disadvantage because he is heavier, then is it right for Corrales to insist that Castillo almost kill himself to make the weight when that is what he is definitely going to have to do?

your a dumb sack of ****. nobody put a gun to castillo's head to take the fight, he wanted it. he is a ***** and a classless ***got for not trying to make weight. wbc only weighed him once a week, he was 139 last week, he must have done nothing all week. for you to spin this to make him look good is ****** at best and nuthugging at the worst. idiot

After I read your username I knew you would say something like this to back up your fighter.

Who's fault is it that Castillo cant make weight? Thats right his own, If he could'nt make weight he should fight in another division, like light welterweight, why pick on guys smaller than him, cheated in the second fight and now cheating again, fine its not his fault, then why waste peoples money? I mean dude think about the tickets that have been sold for this fight and all the hype, think about the boxing fans that were excited to see a trilogy of Fight of the year 2005, to clear all the controversy in the first and second fight, and now we found out Castillo is 5 pounds heavier, last time he was 3 pounds this time 5, i mean its a shame. Again if someones at fault for the weight its Castillo himself, he should have though about it in the first place, and should have done something about it 1 week before the fight, not at the last moment.

probably, but he could have said, "hey guys i cant make the dam weight anymore" you can't force a fighter to take a fight that he can't make weight for. he's just dishonest

Castillo is just fighting the fact that he should be at 140. ****, maybe 147 if he comes to the weigh-in's drained out at 140.

It's a shame that this has to happen again.

It would have been nice to see them both at 140.
