Canelo already had his chance and people usually don't pay to see a rematch when the first fight was so one sided. G had his chance buy he was more interested in fighting Rubio and Wade and whoever else no one has ever heard of.

Floyd is doing G and Canelo a big favor though, the only way this Canelo-G match-up is even mentioned is if Floyd says something about it. Otherwise, all anyone cares about is Floyd-Connor.
Maybe he can fight him without an advantage this time...no catchweight....for those people that say 2 pounds mean nothing then why didn't floyd lose those 2 pounds when he missed weight against Marquez? Because he didn't want to be a weakened fighter yet he had no problem draining other fighters. He can be a 6 division champ and have as many division titles as De La Hoya "6'!!! That's a better argument than beating a guy who would get knocked out by the 30th ranked 154 pound fighter.

Canelo fans are delusional. "Greatly improved" my ass. Canelo is the exact same fighter he was five years and Canelo fanboys know it. It's not a good sign when Khan is outboxing you early

If GGG could take Lemieux's power, he'll have no trouble taking Canelo's power and doing just enough to make it look like an even competitive fight.

I think at some point in a fighter's career money becomes the most important factor and not pride.
Yup exactly what Im worried about. What really made me distrust boxing completely was going back and watching Floyd-Ortiz, and realizing it was 100% fixed. Then I remembered how Ortiz got a gig with Dancing with the Stars right after, and then a movie deal, and it all fits perfectly. He threw the fight and got rewarded for it by the system or however you want to put it. Then recently in an interview he said "fame" feels like selling your soul... yeah because you literally sold out to get it Victor...

I always knew smaller fights were fixed, or at least the judges were paid off, but that was the biggest fight of the year. And they did a ****ing ridiculous WWE style ending with the jumping headbutt and then the fake ref look away while Victor let Floyd hit him not once, but twice, with his hands down. So if they're willing to fix that fight, and the referee was even in on it, as Cortez clearly was, then how can we trust any big fights anymore? GGG-Canelo is another Vegas fight, like Floyd-Ortiz was, and it's another Oscar promoted fight, so... buyer beware.
