Huge amount of money for him, and it's brilliant, but just have this feeling this is a really dangerous fight againt McGregor. If he has slowed down quite an amount, it is risky. Legacy on the line as well in a way.

It Is defiantly on the line. If he loses to a guy with a record of 0-0 he will never live It down. He will also be remembered most for that loss.

I don't think any Golovkin fans care if he fights Ward, only he doesn't Owe Ward to do it whenever Ward feels like it. Ward is a nightmare to negotiate with.

Besides, Floyd v ggg is an major fight. GGG v Ward is a decent fight, but ggg can do just as much if not way more fighting guys who don't cheat to win.

I could care less if he fights Ward bevause Ward is nothing but a dirty fighter who needs to foul his opponent to win. That's just fact!

I don't think it really matters. All boxers need breaks. Especially when you been fighting that long. 1 thing I know is may not been the best comp, but Floyd was active in his prime. and He really didn't start retiring until he was about 30-31 years old that's the age you should be retired or taking breaks from boxing.

Can't say the same for so called P4P fighters like Ward and Garcia for much for their prime years in their late 20's they were highly inactive..and were basically temporary retired like Floyd. but will be long retired or no where near the fighter Floyd was at 36-37 schooling 23 year olds...

I think If anything those retirement gaps Floyd had throughout his early 30's benefited and preserved his body to be able to perform in his late 30's but by 45 I think Floyd will really start feeling the effects from fighting in his mid-late 30's Physically.

Floyd fans had no problem with him fighting little ass Marquez, Pac, and Hatton though.

Martinez and GGG offered to come down to 154 (Martinez offered to come down to 150) and Floyd ran the other way.

Its true. Canelo or G won't bring Floyd a nine figure payday. Canelo can't because he already got schooled, I mean, plain embarrassed by him, and G because he is 34 and his best opponent to date was an English guy two divisions smaller. Canelo already had his chance and people usually don't pay to see a rematch when the first fight was so one sided. G had his chance buy he was more interested in fighting Rubio and Wade and whoever else no one has ever heard of.

Floyd is doing G and Canelo a big favor though, the only way this Canelo-G match-up is even mentioned is if Floyd says something about it. Otherwise, all anyone cares about is Floyd-Connor.

Who cares whether he retired or not? Floyd probably doesnt even know what the word means so you guys are arguing over what an illiterate said anyway
