No I didn't. I posted what Tim said when asked about a Floyd fight. I did not post or imply he ducked.

The issue wasn't whether it was a good business move or not since I never posted or implied it wasn't. Interesting that you call Tim the beneficiary and credit him for a good business move for what you have long called a robbery. But that is for another thread.

No matter what you personally feel about him signing with TR, he did so while acknowledging he wasn't going to go after a fight against the best in the sport , who was also the best in the ww division.

No matter how much you may dislike Floyd, you can't change the facts.

And I was still dumb founded how DSG and Broner turned down 4 mil + PPV.

Tim Bradley in both fights with Pacquiao was given waaaaaay more than Maidana and his 2 fights with MAyweather. Brdley got somewhere close to 7+ million in his fight against Pacquiao in the first fight and Maidana got 3 millipn against Mayweather.
Do you have anything that shows this? Now Tim definitely got a good deal to sign with TR but where are you getting these figures from?

I don't think any opponent was guaranteed the figures you stated. Tim made like $6 mil for the 1st fight total. I think you are using total purse after everything and calling it a guarantee.

That said, Manny was commanding a lower purse than Floyd so there was more available for the opponent s.

You most certainly did Imply that Bradley ducked Floyd by making the following comment

" Tim clearly didn't want to fight Floyd and showed that by signing with TR".

People are not ******, there Is no other way to take that comment.

Why would Floyd not fight Bradley because he signed with Toprank? Isn't Pacquiao with Toprank?

Absolutely agree. Bradley certainly made the correct decision going with TR. I looked up a few purses that he received for previous fights.

So how much will Tim Bradley make against Pacquiao?
Tim will receive $4 million down and a share of the fight revenue from pay-per-view sales and other income. At the end of the day, Bradley will likely earn $6 Million Saturday night.

                Previous payouts
Tim's purse for facing Juan Manuel Marquez in 2013 was $4.1 Million and Tim received a purported $5 Million, his highest purse to date, for facing Manny in their 2014 rematch. And for his most reccent match with Brandon Rios, Bradley earned $1.9 Million.

Not bad for a guy that was In the following position

He'd quit his full-time job as a waiter at a Mimi's Cafe so he could concentrate on his fledgling boxing career. As he prepared to fight the most important fight of his life, he did so with enormous pressure on him. He'd given everything to become an elite fighter. He and his then-girlfriend, Monica, went all in. They bet everything they had that he'd be a success. Given that, a loss would be devastating. They weren't penniless, but they sure were close.

As Bradley left to fly to England for his first world title fight in 2008, the couple's bank account was a paltry $11.

And also the fact that Top Rank steered Bradley in the HOF career also with big paydays. Secured for life Payday+Legacy what Top Rank gave Bradley with his talent. But he ain't HOF doe according to some.

I don't disagree most of the time of Top Rank, but telling Bradley is better off without them is ridiculous.

provin***ov fight took 3 years and 6 fights of punches to the head. he did not box smart. i think the pac fight was after that fight which is weird.

i think he could of made more money. he wouldn't of took all them right hands from russian flesh eating carnivore. and hed probs be fighting khan this year.

he should of been a free agent, that way he could still get pac, but he could of got loads more fights.

he was known, people liked watching bradley fight.

so bradley mosley, cotto, khan, canelo, malignaggi, mathheus and others. maybe he would of been b side but its a strong b side which gets much more viewers.

                    nobody knew the russian dude.

he was ****** vs prodivnikov, getting brain damage for our entertainment? i seen the guy box and move in the uk vs witter for his first title. not slick but looked smart, just a notch or 2 down from a crawford skill wise but more grit and determination.

top rank ended bradley with the macho man contest.

he did 5 fights with rank maybe, but apart from pac, he was a side.

he would of made more money vs cotto and the guys i mentioned being b side.

now his career is finished and probably hasn't recovered the carnivore beating.

he aint looked good in the ring since providnikov

No I didn't. You quoted that post without reading or quoting the previous posts it was related to. I was responding to a response, not making a statement. You inferred something from the post incorrectly. A simple reading of the posts it is associated with shows this.

While other people may not be ******, you might be. That or you just saw a post from me and your "mannyfanism", for lack of a better term, kicked in. It's happened before so I am used to it.

You are aware of the climate when Tim signed with TR in 2011/12. To point out that Floyd and Manny fought 3 years later doesn't change the political climate when Tim signed. Maybe it was Bob that made him make that statement. I just know he said it.

Tim made the choice to go after Manny instead of the best guy in the division. If he has regrets, that is on him. He was a free agent and very easily could've signed a 2 fight deal to get Floyd then he gone after Manny once the deal was up.
