    What a ****** comment.

Marquez was floored 3 times in the first round in the first fight and then dominated the fight in great performance.

    Chris John outsmarted him?

    Hahahahaha.

Marquez won that fight clearly, that's the opinion of the majority in the world of boxing.

But JMM was fighting in the home of John.

Marquez took a lot of risks in his career. Something that most of fighters never do in these times.

    Bradley outsmarted him?

Do you know that Marquez was fighting in his 5 division?

How do you think that Bradley will look in 154 pounds or 160?

Marquez moved up 20 pounds, ignorant.

And the fight was close, Tim won 115-113.

What the f.uck are you talking about?

And Marquez iced Pacquiao and was near to kill him over the ring.

Pac never do that to his father.

You look more like a ******* fan boy.

And he K.Oed Casamayor, that was not an aggressive fighter. He beat Barrera too.

And schooled Salido, easily, some that Loma failed to do.

But miraculously at 40 he gained a chin just cos he trained right bwerevsuoppose to believe?
      Man, YDKSAB.

Marquez was floored 3 times in first round and then he dominated the most part of the fight.

Marquez had a bad balance, he was floored by Barrera, Katsidis, Floyd, Pac, but he always recovered so well and still fighting.

Marquez was making adjustments in each fight vs Paquiao.

      First Fight: floored 3 times.

      Second Fight: floored one time.

Third fight: he was not floored.

His best fight was the third where he dominated Pacquiao but was robbed.

So, he made a training camp to K.O Pacquiao, gaining a lot of muscle and power.

He lost speed and took punishment but was able to kill Pacquiao over the ring, floored Pac two times.

Simply the best K.O in boxing history.

He would've been ahead on 2 out of the 3 scorecards if the fight went the distance.

Marquez literally KOed Pac. If they gave Pac a full minute to get up, he still wouldn't be able to. Might not be as memorable as the Chavez - Taylor fight, but I think the Pac getting KTFO was more impressive.
More impressive, absolutely! No argument there.

That was one of the greatest days in my life. I'll never forget screaming in delight at the top of my lungs at 5 45 AM and waking everyone up when Marquéz dropped that hammer on Pacquiao

Everyone was crying about doing a part 5, but I saw no need. I think it was a perfect way to end the rivalry, because a lot of what made it interesting was how the first 3 fights were close and competitive. All 3 fights could've gone either way, with Marquez getting the short end of it with a draw in there.

Then, BOOM! KO to end it convincingly. Marquez got what he wanted for so long.

Pacquiao might have won the battles 2 - 1 - 1, but he lost the war to Marquez. Pacquiao never KOed Marquez, but Marquez KOed Pac. Great ending to a boxing rivalry.

I will remember Marquez for terrorizing featherweight

Kellerman is probably correct..... Marquez was probably the best featherweight, in one the best featherweight era's

              phenomenal really

I will also remember Marquez for the 1st Pacquiao fight..... where he was knocked down 3x in the very first round, and suffered a broken nose..... but then put on one of the best boxing clinics that I have ever seen against a top opponent..... not only clawing his way back into the fight, but truth-be-known sneaking an unlikely win

that was the biggest choke in boxing history..... I have never heard of a TOP fighter knocking his opponent down 3x in the first round, AND breaking his nose..... but not even winning the fight

              phenomenal really

then I remember him for terrorizing lightweight

              that was epic as well

with many memorable fights ands entertaining KO's

              truly phenomenal

then I remember Marquez for jumping TWO divisions..... to fight a red-hot Pac..... in an OBVIOUS weight-manipulated setup..... but then watching him CLEARLY outbox Manny..... only to lose again, to Bob "it's just business" Arum

              .

oh, and..... how could I possibly forget this.....

isn't it funny how much we differ on this subject..... ?

and isn't it funny how people see what they want to see..... ?

I can assure you of this.....

..... we Marquez fans have AT LEAST as many fond memories of Juan, as you Pacquiao fans have of Manny.....

..... I can most definitely assure you of that

retire in peace champ, you earned it !!

The first fight jmm realised he had to box and not trade to last to final bell! But in 4th fight, PACs punches just bouncing off of jmm.
TBH JMM when going toe to toe was getting beat down. He was hurt badly a couple of times.

You could tell he was looking for that pump fake where PAC lunges in to catch him.

If I'm not mistaken he caught him with the same punch in the 4th round.

the first Diaz fight was epic

baby-bull was lighting him up like a christmas tree

                    I am a looooong-term Marquez fan, so I believe in him 100%.....
but I thought that Marquez was gone for all money

he looked too small and Diaz was monstering him

The great Marquez man. What ay to end the rivarly by sleeping pacquiao face first after going through so much and getting robbed of decisions. Especially when people thought pac was unstoppable at that time.
