Gonna depend on how the TV shakes out, tbh.

If HBO keeps the live rights to the fight, there's no doubt in my mind that they're taking the fight to PPV. If Showtime gets control of the fight, CBS likely goes into the pocket to air the fight in primetime (partially contingent on what the NCAA Football schedule is looking like), or the fight ends up on Showtime PPV if the tracking metrics look like the fight would be able to generate $10m on PPV (@$65 for HD, you're talking about the interest needing to start at 150k PPV buys).

Personally, if I had to bet, Klitschko doesn't actually go through with the rematch, Joshua-Pulev ends up being the next fight, and Showtime risks a day/night double-header, with Joshua headlining in a stadium in the UK, and Deontay Wilder headlining at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

[Pushing things even further, I could even see Showtime/MGM Resorts looking to book a double-header featuring Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua, both fighting live from T-Mobile Arena; Wilder in the main event would give the UK fans a chance to see their guy on Sky Box Office a bit earlier in the night.]

you are delusional or just confused! This fight is on ppv now! No more hbo or showtime! If showtime or hbo are involved hbo will show the fight first then showtime will show it later at 10 pm like hbo did for the first fight! You are talking too much non sense for no reason

Businesses generally are in the business of making money and not losing it. The fact that they are investing and that MGM are paying to get Joshua out to Vegas shows that they themselves feel that a Joshua fight in the States can be a success. Both businesses would have studied in depth as to what they can expect and whether the investment would make a return and they clearly think they do, hence why Joshua is with Showtime and the T-Mobile Arena is booked for the rematch.

The only spanner here is HBO, as obviously they aren't invested in Joshua. Do feel that for Joshua it'd make far more sense for it to not be PPV to increase Joshua's reach in the States, but if it is a PPV I certainly don't think it'll be a total flop.

They can study all they want. They can do the research and come out with a great plan all they want. That doesn't mean that it will sell here. This is not the U.K. I hope that all fighters can sell ppvs to put boxing in the spot light.

But, it's of my opinion that it won't sell. They are trying to sell the wrong opponent to the public. American never liked Wlad. And they don't know Joshua. 42 year old Wlad is not going to raise Joshua's profile here in the states.

The first fight was in the UK; for the likely 10pm ringwalk in London, the fight was able to air live 2pm on the West Coast and 5pm on the East Coast. That would've been the same setup had the fight been anywhere in England, anywhere in Germany, or Nigeria.

That is not the case for a fight in the United States. Regardless of how you want to keep trying to dance around it, a bout from Las Vegas likely has a 11pm to midnight start time on the East coast.

                You played yourself.

Sure, that's why you are in red.

We know it's you Original Zero....your new alt WBC WBA IBF was a bad name to choose if you were trying to disguise yourself.

You're one of the worst trolls on here.

I'm not interested in reading your troll B.S., so keep it to yourself or talk to someone else who will entertain you, not me.
