Lomo too small to beat Mikey Garcia fight will not happen soon

Lomo would need a few fights at 135lbs to adjust for a bigger Mikey. Arum's golden goose Lomo will not be thrown into a tough fight with risks of losing. Plus neither guy is a top draw so PPV is out. A commie and boring nice kid isn't PPV worthy.

Sounds like Loma-Mikey isn't happening...

That sucks, but if we get Loma-Rigo in December at 130, and Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence in December at 147, then that's just as good in its own way. I just wish these guys would fight the best at their weights while they're close, before making moves up in weight that separate the fighters for good.

For example Loma-Rigo should have happened at 126, then Loma-Mikey should have happened at 130 when Mikey was at 130, then Mikey-Crawford should have happened at 135 when Crawford was at 135, and then both Mikey and Crawford could move up to 147 to fight those guys.

But instead all these fighters are weight jumping at different times, finding ways to always avoid each other on the way up. It's a joke and it's ruining boxing. All those guys could have fought already, but instead they are almost 30 and still haven't, and it will probably end up just like 175 where there were tons of top guys and great fights to be made, but now they're all past their primes and still none of them ever fought each other except Kovalev and Ward in two corrupt fights, which hardly counts.

Boxing is still ****, don't let anyone tell you different. This year is an improvement but overall it's still ****.

Spence looks like he could make 154 pretty easy. But hey if Mikey beats him at 147 he can then move to 154 and fight Charlo or Lara.

Then can move up to 160 and challenge GGG or Canelo!!!

Then move to 168 and fight DeGale.

After that wouldn't it be aweomse to see Mikey Garcia vs. ANDRE Ward??? Or maybe even Kovalov???

Given the way Mikey left Top Rank, I don't see Arum making it either unless he makes it at 130 where Mikey would have to starve to make weight.

Mikey isn't fighting Loma or Linares next. Loma and Arum will never go near Mikey or any top fighter not with Top Rank. Loma will be fighting Ray Beltran next instead of chasing fights against Mikey, Berchalt or Corrales. Only fight Loma is interested in chasing is against Salido. Linares won't fight Mikey either, he's fighting in September and won't be willing to fight Mikey in December.

1000% agree. I think Mikey was ****** for taking this fight and it can back fire on him. Broner is strong and has skill. Weight classes are there for a reason. Who was it that used to say I'll always take a good bigger fighter over a good smaller one??? Emanuel Steward??

Broner looked great at smaller eight classes. Even Maidana said Broner was very strong upper body strength. Mikey is gonna have to fight perfect and not get ****y in the ring.

Why aren't Loma and Terrence Crawford trying to fight?

There are tons of fightings in the featherweight / lightweight area that could fight each other but not happening.
