Comments Thread For: Broner: I Bet They Won't Bet Against Me Again After This Fight!

Adrien Broner couldn't believe it when he learned Mikey Garcia opened as a 5-1 favorite over him last month. Those lopsided odds obviously motivated Broner, but the former four-division champion is less concerned about playing the underdog role as their July 29 fight nears. Boxing bettors clearly have been wagering on Broner because Garcia is slightly less than a 3-1 favorite with less than a week to go before their 12-round, 140-pound bout at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

I completely understand why Broner is the underdog in this fight. He hasn't develope to the next level skills wise. Broner might lose easily or get KO'd then hopefully he'll finally change his corner up.

I hate Broner but I think he is going to win. I am not sure Mikey can handle his power. But Broner can't fight lazy like he tends to do sometimes. If he does the he loses.

It's a great fight, but would never be a PPV event, regardless of the promoter, right? None of these guys has ever been in a PPV, nor would they be able to carry a PPV on their own.

neither was ggg vs lemeiux or valdez vs marriaga or crawford vs postol or ward vs kovalev none of those were ppv fights thats why they all flopped so bad! I can guarantee you broner vs mikey would sell more ppv if this fight was on ppv! Thats for damn sure!

Broner in a way is actually correct, no one will be betting against him.....or on him..because his career will be over and he wont be boxing anymore
