Also, it depends on how much money Rigo demands! Its no secret Rigo doesn't earn near as much as Loma but I do think Rigo deserves to be paid well if the fight happens. People will complain that Arum is holding up the fight but Haymon, Dela Hoya, Hearns, K-2, etc. will all do what benefits there company. Its funny how most people call out Arum but turn a blind eye to all those other promoters! Floyd has pretty much stated he will not let Tank go nowhere near Loma anytime in the near future! Where is the outcry about that?
Floyd said he is building up Tank so him & loma have time being that they are young, Rigo. is 36yrs so that fight needs to happen A.S.A.P. Haymon has PBC & are doing a great job matching fighters so it does benefit his company.....So don't try to get away from the facts. Fact is Bob is mad cuz Rigo. beat donair which was supposed to be the next pacquiao then s**t on Rigo. & got the media, certain commentators & dumb fans repeating bob's "boring" talk. Outcry that.

Why would Arum feel comfortable with any purse offer to Rigondeaux when he himself has to risk his top star's loss. You think Arum doesn't know about upsets? Did anybody think Marquez was going to KTFO of Pac? It took Pac two years to get back into the gullible spotlight starting with a no KO in Rios...

Arum would easily give any purse amount Rigo wants if he truly felt Loma could beat him. There's no other logical explanation but being shook. A loss to Rigo what narrative does Arum use for Loma afterwards? Arum said "Mayweather is a great defensive fighter, no one wants to see a defensive fighter...and it makes for a stinking fight...".

Funny how Arum thinks opinion is better than Floyd's revenues... lol old dumbass

Loma vs Rigo = BIG PPV kind of moneybag office and huge respect to Loma. Also it fills Loma's resume and desire to fight champions. SO it is a big win for Arum so he actually would like to make this fight for a 1M to Rigo. However he starts offering something small like 500k hoping it will work out at 650-700k.

Arum knows that for Rigo this fight is needed. When he looses all other chanpions of 126/130 would like to fight Rigo too and then he will make some $$ in addition to Loma's fight. SO Rigo REALLY needs Loma as everybody else is ducking him like crazy or just not interested in that risk for nothing (fans of Tank Davis wouldn't give a **** for fight with Rigo).

Remember, the first fight fell through because of Rigondeaux.

The question becomes, is Rigondeaux willing to fight him? Like actually willing to fight him. Not calling him out, and then when it comes to negotiations, turning down offers and demanding huge money. The offer for Rigondeaux is there. It's up to him to take it.
No, the first negotiation boby low-balled Rigo. (500k) to get out of fight so don't blame Rigo. he wasn't demanding huge $ just wants his fair share (wouldn't you, if not your a sucker). Don't forget arum offered salido 720k. for a rematch. while Rigo. is more accomplished & the better fighter.

Then Rigo. trains at Floyd's gym, next thing you know Floyd makes Tanks vs salido for his undercard & takes loma's rematch with salido off the table. That leaves loma without an opponent while Rigo. is calling him out.

Now Rigo. calls him out again then team boby ask for a weight at 130 via social media, Rigo. said yes via social media but what happens? Oh, team loma ends up picking a guy that just moved up in weight, coming off a loss & also having a loss to Walters who loma already beat. Arum is the issue here & if loma was in control he would refuse to fight till he got Rigo. then bob would turn on him like he has with other fighters....

So stop with the B.S. loma has most of the advantages so why not make that fight? That's how you can tell it's all bob arum.

Rigo. & loma should happen A.S.A.P. cuz Rigo is 36yrs old & I would love to see Tank vs loma & Tank vs Rigo.

When has that ever been a criteria? If he's so great, why did he only get $110K to fight Flores on a PPV undercard? lol

Low Balling would be offering him less than he got paid in his last fight.

Rigo is moving up in weight, and thus is being compensated for it. By making 5x more than he made in his last fight.

Again, one team is actually making an offer. If they want the fight to get made, it can easily be made by Rigo agreeing and signing the contract.

My guess is that Rigo is probably holding out for Donaire type money, and he's never going to see that again. So thus, he's the one that's ducking the fight.
No, bob arum is the one ducking this fight.

Arum can't delay this. Now is the time. Best fight that can be made.

                  Let's go champ.

Rigo said he called his manager right away and then says what does he have to do? Simple! Get his damn manager to call Top Rank!

You're only reading the headline. They tried to negotiate in 2015 which is well documented. He said he is ready to fight Rigo next, not that he is finally ready for the first time.
