Salido was in a position of power, because he holds a win over him so he was able to demand way more money than he's worth.
Rigo is not in that position. He has no leverage at all, because he can't even get fights anymore unless Roc Nation gets on their knees and begs HBO to showcase him.
He should take the offer that's on the table. If he's serious. If he thinks he's getting 50/50 or over $1M, then he's the one that's ducking.

When has that ever been a criteria? If he's so great, why did he only get $110K to fight Flores on a PPV undercard? lol
Low Balling would be offering him less than he got paid in his last fight.
Rigo is moving up in weight, and thus is being compensated for it. By making 5x more than he made in his last fight.
Again, one team is actually making an offer. If they want the fight to get made, it can easily be made by Rigo agreeing and signing the contract.
My guess is that Rigo is probably holding out for Donaire type money, and he's never going to see that again. So thus, he's the one that's ducking the fight.

Casuals may not care about this fight but I can't think of any 2 opponents today that would bring in a better combined skill level than these two. And it's not like Santa Cruz, Frampton, or mares were going to go anywhere near rigo so why not
